the real question isn't "how is the surgeon the boy's parent when we know his father died in the car wreck" (answer: the surgeon was a woman #feminism). what we should really be asking is, "how is the surgeon?" how will this newly widowed single mother juggle her very demanding job, her son's grief (assuming he survives the surgery), and her own grief? after losing her husband so tragically, will she ever be able to open her heart to someone else and try again? how long will that take? is she fruity at all? can i have her number? the car accident wasn't my fault btw
it is a truth universally acknowledged that having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card
it's worse than hill house
Okay but you understand that to me Ancient Greece and Greek mythology are places I go to climb things and be tall and I’m probably going to think this movie is rad as hell in IMAX right
I know that when a recipe says like “easy one-pan quesadilla” or whatever and then tells you to put the filling in a bowl and wash your hot pan before using it again that’s because the target audience is people who only have one pan but I have so many pans for so many different purposes and whenever I see such a direction I get irrationally angry. You’re lying to me. This is a two-pan recipe with a burnt finger intermission
When I made this post I had no idea that so many people would be stunned by the idea of having in their quesadilla not only cheese but also Cooked Meat or perhaps other things that would speed the process along by being warmed before being put in the quesadilla. You can have an entire meal inside a tortilla if you want. You have the power.
I love not being into Greek mythology at all. People are mad because Christopher Nolan’s Odysseus is not their Blorbo from their epic poetry or musicals or whatever and I am probably going to see the movie with only the vaguest recollections of when I read it in high school and college and I’ll enjoy the IMAX spectacle of it. I don’t care about the “nobody” bit. It sounds like it’s still going to have more to do with the source material than Mike Flanagan’s Hill House does. The extent of my care for Greek mythology is playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey just to climb things and be tall
This is a worm? Or perhaps some sort of slug?
And it's gonna getcha
