Today We Honor Gloria Richardson
In the fight for civil rights, some voices stand out like shining stars in a dark sky. Gloria Richardson is one of those stars, a brave leader who made a real difference in the struggle for equality. Her work, especially in Cambridge, Maryland, changed lives and inspired many to join the battle against injustice. Honoring Gloria Richardson means recognizing her powerful impact on civil rights and the importance of standing up for what is right.
Her incredible journey as a leader in the civil rights movement deserves recognition and respect.

this has happened twice where i like someone, they change or move in a disrespectful way and then, shortly after I find a feather.
i see feathers a lot but when it happens in this really mundane way where im sad it does feel like some ancestor protecting me and reminding me not to be overcome by uncertainty likeee well at least I like to think so <3
This is probably one of the most depressingly heart-wrenching photos I’ve ever seen. Native American children taken from their families and put into school to assimilate them into white society. the slogan for this governmental campaign ’“kill the Indian to save the man”. no official apology has ever been issued. never forgotten.
