Beaver of my Dreams

22:45 p.m
Up
00:12 a.m
Still up and preparing camomile tea.
02:34 a.m
Still turning on his bed... Starting to count sheeps.
02:35 a.m
Stopped counting sheeps, they all had Draxxum's face... So creep out that now he's more awake!
05:55 a.m
Still awake, still tired
07:59 a.m
Finally... eyes shut... mind relaxing... sleeping
08:00 a.m
Alarm. His sword destroys his digital clock.

"Did you had a bad night again, Leo?"
"...What makes you think about that?"
"You are pouring coffee on your cherrius" Raph pointed out as Leo kept pouring the jarr of coffee on the bowl of cereals.
"Because we ran out of milk"
"Leo..." his big brother took the coffee away, giving him a concerned look, "You clearly having trouble sleeping"
"I'm fiiiine..." Leo said clearly looking tired "I'll take a nap afterward and I'll be good as new"
Afternoon
Wide awake gripping the blanket. Leo groaned deeply as he went to the fridge to get an energy drink. April took a look at him and she explained "Wow... Insomnia?" he looked at her back blankly... rubbing his eyes. "Ok... Is that a real word or am I hallutinating words again?"
April sat with him on the kitchen "So, how many nights" she asked. "Dunno... Nine, ten...oneten...?" Leo replied drinking the energy drink.
"Drinking this stuff won't help you to hit the sack" She took the drink away from him "Why don't you come to Witch Town with me? I'm sure there's a good goodNight sleep treatment"
"Aren't you and Donnie banned for making a kaiju run rampage or something?"
"Oh, I had a talk with the mayor and we had an agreement"
And that agreement it's comunity service: cleaning the streets. Leo looked at her human friend already on a villager uniform with a broom and a garbage can; gesturing her with exceptical tone he said "And this is better than being banned?"
"I know, ok?" she said annoyed "But I can explore afterward and get some stuff here. And bring with me anyone but Donnie." She took one of the brooms "Just try to be nice, and search for something that would help you to sleep"
"Pfff... Why is everyone worried about how much I sleep? I'm fiiine..." her friend took her phone on slefie mode and put it on his face... he trailed off seeing his baggy eyes ".... oooh, no no no... My face!"
The turtle walked around the place, looking for a concrete shop about sleep... feeling the eyes of the witches on him. It felt like daggers. Even the clerks are hostile toward him. "I know what are you thinking and: no, I'm not the turtle you hate, that's my twin" He would said. But still... everyone it's still hostile.
"Speaking of witch hunt..." he tried to joke... Then a tendants was struggling putting a large vase inside the store, almost falling, till Leo gave the old small witch a hand. "Wof.. Here we go"
"Oh, thank you young lad." she thanked him as he place it inside, smiling warmly. "what a nice good boy~" Leo was glad that at least someone from this town was nice enough... Or by the size and thickeness of her glasses she can't confusing him to his twin."No problem, lady witch" He said... a yawn escaping from his lips.
"Oh dear... You ok, lad? You seems tired"
"Nah... I'm just a bored teenager. Althoooo, if you have something to get rid of baggy eyes.." He mused looking at her tent directly at the little vials... full of eyes. Grossing him out"...or not."
"Oh, my grandkid it's been selling this lately"The old witch said picking out a egg shapped gem like thing from inside of a box that clearly has a Hands Off signal. "It's a Critter Bed. You pour warm milk on it and a nice critter helps you to sleep"
Leo gave it an exceptical look at the box that came from "Yeah... I don't think it would help me. Altho, a face cream to erease the bags of my---"
"Nonsense. The baggy eyes leaves with a goodnight sleep" she said insisting by placing it on his hand "And each egg has a different critter: bunnies, chinchillas, unicorns, baby bears..."
"Lady, I'm really don't..." he stopped mid sentence, a stark of interest appearing on his eyes when she said "...Unicorns?"

Yep, Leo bought that Critter bed egg just because there's unicorns involded... and that he NEEDS to finally sleep. He hated the sleeples nights... but can't bring himself to look upset about it. It's just a small witch artifact spell, what could go wrong? And he's too tired to be alert.
"Ok, let's see if this really help..." he poured a jar of warm milk over the egg placed inside of a large Lou Jitsu procional noodle bowl on the floor of his room slowy. The egg moved a little. And again... little cracks appearing as it dimmed with glittering light. "Please be a unicorn, please be a unicorn, please be a unicorn..." he whispered with a child-like entusiasism as he sees the egg craking more. Splashing the milk out of the bowl a small colorfull furry creature emerged... A tiny baby blue beaver with white paterns, with big eyes, cute front teeth and round beaver-tail; lookig up at Leo. "...you are not a unicorn" Yep, he just said that with a disappointed look. But he softened when the lil creature moved close to him, putting it's little pawns on his knees "But you are pretty cute" He scrached the beaver's cheek. The creature nuzzled againts his green finger, it's colorfull furr glowing a little. "wow, look at...you..." Leo's eyes suddenly felt heavy and he bonked his head againts the egde of the bed... making him snap out by the impression.
"Wow!! Okaaaay, it seems you really work"He said feeling like he can finally sleep, bending down to reach for the little beaver "Ok, Critter Beaver, let's hit the sack..." But the creature dodged his hands and run out of his room "Huh?! Hey, where are you going?! Come back here and erase my baggy eyes!!" Leo get up and rushed to follow the beaver.

Raph walked passing Leo's room, he noticied the door open... He entered. And covered a sleeping and snoring Leo with a blanket.
