I find it v interesting how often you will see people in various comment sections say smth to the tune of "I dont like max off-track/max is not well liked/his personality is aggressive" bc it's so incredibly and obviously incorrect. max is regularly named one of the nicest guys in the f1 paddock by the other drivers. gabriel bortoleto spoke about how max treats everyone with respect regardless of if they are an f1 driver or not. laura winter and several other women involved in the f1 paddock have spoken about how max is the height of professionalism. will buxton has spoken about how max's kindness towards his late father impacts him to this day. countless fans have incredibly positive stories about how warm and friendly max is. several media personalities and influences have described how they met max thinking he would be a prick but instead he's kind and sensitive and they come away wanting to protect him. his mother calls him her sweet boy. his sister posts about how much she loves him. everyone who has worked with him describes him with both reverence and adoration. he runs a sim racing team and regularly goes online to get bullied by them. he has had the same best friend since he was 4 years old. he texts a different person in motorsport seemingly every day just to tell them he believes in them. he went to an entirely new racing category and everyone just fucking LIKES him. so when people say they think he is mean off-track I wonder if perhaps they're looking in the mirror instead
