The pathway image represents the beginning of my learning journey starting this major project, travelling to the Northern Territory. It is also symbolic of educational pathways people can take in life, and the single path shows some people have less pathways/opportunities compared to others: the Gap in Education between Indigenous and Non. The sign, is to educate visitors to change perspectives developing ideas to connect with the landscape and the culture, in part the learning process is developing a connection with subject matter to understand it. This sign in part displays an attempt at reconciliation. Non-Indigenous people to respect Aboriginal culture, local Aboriginal community welcomes visitors to explore their country in a different way.
