For some reason he's one of the easiest characters for me to draw sometimes- Also he's cannonly a fallout fan, when he's opening his safe there's fr a little sticker inside and I've always liked that little detail. Gives em a lil more personality

A Found Friendship | Chapter 3

Summary:

It's Sasha's first morning in Camp Campbell, and everyone's facing the aftermath of the icebreaker.

Sasha was the first in the tent to wake up that morning. Partially thanks to her nose aching, and also because it was a lot… Louder... Out in Camp Campbell.

Back at her old camp, they all slept in their own cabins on comfortable beds, each nicely adorned with quilts and nice, fluffy pillows; a complete contrast to her current situation. She almost wished Nikki had broken her nose so she couldn’t smell how musty the bedding and the cot was, the entire thing smelled like it was dug out from a crypt somewhere.

The sleeping bag was too warm for the current season, but the nights were too cold to go without one. She found herself tossing and turning throughout the night, constantly shifting from going with and without the sleeping bag. The flat pillow barely offered her any neck support, and the cot itself felt like she was sleeping on a bed made out of bricks.

The tent itself wasn’t soundproof in the slightest, she could hear all of the birds singing outside of her tent, and the last few crickets from the night were taking their sweet time heading back to bed for the morning. A few tree frogs could also be heard from the forest surrounding them, and the tapping of a nearby wood pecker made it hard for Sasha to even think about trying to sleep in.

Squashing Camp Camp Rumors & Misinformation

Hello, I have not been very active on tumblr the past few months, but I was just perusing the site along with the #campcamp tag and boy, you guys are freakin’ out lately! So I wanted to try to help squash any rumors and quell some fears regarding the show. Here we go:

1. Camp Camp is canceled - This is false! We do not actively cancel shows we own and/or produce, because there is no benefit to that. However, in the new Rooster Teeth business model, Camp Camp is now a RT Studios show which means we no longer have the ability to produce it on our own. So we are actively shopping it and looking for a partner to help make it! When will this happen? I don’t know, but rest assured we are doing our best and have not given up on it.

2. Miles’ departure means Camp Camp has no future - Ah!!! No!!! Guys, Miles is just one part of the Camp Camp creative team. Yes, he is the co-creator and partners with me on many episodes for writing, but I am still here, fighting for the show every day! I have been the showrunner for every season of the show, and I will continue to play a major role in the show’s creative. If we’re able to continue the show, we will undoubtedly extend Miles an invitation to be in the writer’s room, along with our usual suspects of full-time and contract writers.

3. Camp Camp will be totally different if you partner with another company to make it - This one is just people speculating so they can have something to doom and gloom about. Obviously I cannot predict the future, so I don’t know what kind of deal will get struck if and when we find a partner for Camp Camp. But in my experience we have been pretty fortunate to have creative partners who trust us to do what we do best, so I would expect that to remain true for Camp Camp. However, it is pointless to speculate on this at this point in time.

4. Miles leaving means he will no longer voice David - This one is particularly befuddling to me, but still false. Miles is no longer a full-time Rooster Teeth employee, but he is still involved with shows like RWBY. For instance, he’ll still be voicing Juane, so his departure has zero impact on that show continuing. The majority of the Camp Camp cast are contract voice actors, so there is no reason Miles would not return to voice David in the future. Calm down!

5. Gwen wears a hat - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This pretty much applies for any show we’re trying to make on the studio side, like Nomad of Nowhere. Also I’ve deleted all my inbox because it was 99% “Where is Camp Camp?” so if you have a different ask feel free to do that now. Thank you!
