We all struggle with something from our childhood. For me its scarcity. Join me as I find my way to fight back and claim my life.
Fresh off the press.
I've honestly struggled with the topic of Scarcity from a very young age. Grew up in what would be considered a low income family in the Bronx and went through quite a few bouts of financial close calls and ruin...
And it did a number on my mind...
So this is my open loop on my struggles about it, and my desire to finally put that mentality behind me with a fresh perspective.

Some say that a small spark can start a great fire.
That's to say that everything has a beginning.
At every decision there was once an idea, a thought, a conception, an implant of what could be.
So is this what we expected two and a half centuries of democracy to be?
Where Independence is nothing more than an invisible restraint tied to the necks of our subconscious to be more than we need to be?
To crank the wrench tighter? To turn the wheel harder to make someone ungrateful more wealthier with the promise of us getting one more day to live on the scraps of a fortune that should be available to all?
The politicians we once voted in now pay their way in on the premise of promises as hollow as their insatiable egos. Fingers pointed every which direction at someone or something else like gangbangers, a cross check for the thugs many of them really are. Traitors even to their own parties and agendas.
This is the game... So as you play it, think to yourself. Is this truly freedom, or are we paying for that with our souls when our wallets run dry?
Riddle me that America.
Enjoy your one day of freedom before it's stripped away like bad paint for something more shiny and willing to obey like the robots they want us all to be. For the all mighty dollar dollar and the Algorithm.
An Emotional Drop.

I'm here at work, but my mind and soul aren't here.
Yet another separation of existence that I am seeking to understand and accept.
Something in me wants to change... To break free... But what can it be.. And why?
Why? That part is easy - Change is Life and I am long overdue of both.

Just went to pay my rent and I feel the tightness in my chest. That voice that whispers yeah dude you don't have enough for the next two weeks...
But then I realize... I hear that shit everyday and still I have enough. I am enough to take care of me and my family.
I face the voice everyday and win.

And this is the vast majority of us... We do so much to impress our 'superiors' and other people. We want others to watch our every move... Follow us... Subscribe to us... Click a Like button. We want to be the best... The fastest... And hope that the void from days past is filled.
Little do we know we ignore the child we are for a vision of success and hope THEY want us to see and to be.
We just continue to walk and bleed on everything we touch and stand for, because we don't want to 'waste time' to tend to the child in us that needs us.
