Design for my new EP
My response to Ella's GIF.
Ella responded by creating a quick time-lapse of what she did throughout the day, so i decided to create an image consisting of what i drank throughout the day.

Fieldwork
By looking at the size of the screen and the way that it is positioned above the square we can see how easy accessible it is to the eye, making it a very successful way of consumption. The screen tends to run for most hours of the day meaning that any passer by will be able to see what is viewed on the screen at any time. As the screen is probably set to a certain television channel most of the time the product being consumed will be that of advertisements between program intervals, instead of still imagery.
Engage / enrage I decided to base my poster on the idea that no matter how many times you may walk the same route you will most likely always miss something. So the aim of my poster was to Engage people into thinking about the subject and hopefully encourage people to take in their surrounding environment more often. To place them I basically walked around finding things that I don't usually take in or recognize.
Editorial Brief
We had the task of creating an editorial piece through using different collaged snippets of text from a certain article. We decided to oppose the original point and subject of the article and make it into something completely different, also using a sense of humour to get our point across.
Here is my 'Words in Motion' piece which i created on After Effects and edited together in FinalCut.
Poem (Sylvia Plath - Cut) internal.org/Sylvia_Plath/Cut
Artist (John Stezaker) saatchigallery.com/artists/john_stezaker.htm
We had to create a piece using a poem from the poet assigned to us, and then represent that poem using the style of the artist we were given. I did some research into my artist, and most of his work, or most recognisable, were very identical. So i decided to use his main trait which involves splitting images and incorporate it into my motion piece. Because of this main feature i also decided to use the poem 'Cut' by Sylvia Plath as the title reflects the style i am trying to create.
So we had to come up with a method of being able to prove to our class and lecturers that we had read the Bristol Post issue we were assigned back to front, word for word. I decided to use quite a basic method of filming myself over the course of 4-5 hours and then speeding it up within an editing software to create a time-lapse.
Risk Assessment for visiting places of public consumption - Critical Perspectives
Some quick design work i did for a friend for an upcoming event. I don't usually do bright colours but i think this turned out ok. The background design was originally an image of myself, i got to that design by using a lot of different effects within illustrator.
These are some of the cultural texts i have been looking at to base my essay on.
