Coffee time---->Andrew Para
Damn, so someone had seen through his normally trick of getting others to talk about themselves. He felt a slight shiver in his spine at her question, never being one to talk about his origins much. “Washington D.C or at least not far from it anyway” he managed to hide his discomfort, so far Amelia had been the only person to ever learn about his past, and he was planning on keeping it that way for now. “Actually it was more circumstantial, and a need for money. Is that bad?”
He laughed lightly, knowing that feeling all too well, “well they do say the first step to dealing with a problem is admitting you have one. Though you’re a student right? Pretty sure you can still get away with it” and he used his job as an excuse. Really it seemed almost impossible to find someone who couldn’t justify drinking the stuff.
Listening to him as he talked, May noticed the discomfort but decided to steer the conversation in another direction. “I heard that D.C is actually really pretty this time of year.” She said. “Devon is usually nice but it has it’s rainy spots. Actually the weather here reminds me of it a lot.”
Laughing at his comment about the teaching, May shook her her head. “No because I did the same thing with medical assisting. Its a good way to get my foot in the medical world while saved up for medical school. So I feel you. It’s not easy going after what you really wanna do in this wold when every thing is so expensive.”
When he mentioned that admitting a problem was the first step, the brunette nodded. “Yeah, being a student and a full time mom gives me a big excuse to drink tons of it. Being an English teacher also gives you the excuse. Spending all that time grading students work.”
