pasting in my descr. from insta~ oniisama e is awesome the characters are all so trapped by their institutions and expectations and memories and in the end no one really makes it out. it’s so of its time and forward thinking and the interpersonal relationships are generationally messy.

accidentally retread a lot of ground with this illustration (oops!!!!). references for comp/poses are the included illuminated manuscript and painting, which i was introduced to in person :) historically it hung at a girls’ finishing school for “moralizing purpose” whichhhh lollllll. too perfect a reference for anything tangential to class s!!!!

i have given up on the idea of filling in the text and finishing the drawing because the plot is just so fucking stupid.im only showing it because it's related to this other work of mine（about shadow girls）.i hope no one can figure out what i drew😶

The long awaited fourth Utena Speedpaint! This one I went for Chigusa Sanjouin from the Utena Sega Saturn game! If you haven't heard of it, it is awesome game and she is the main antagonist (But will never be worst than Akio).

I will be doing another Utena Speedpaint, BUT if I did another anime which one would you like to see?
