♡⭑. luke would take your attitude easily. it would be like rolling with the punches for him, he's met more moisture vaporators who are more complicated. you? that's light work for him and he thinks you're infinitely much better to look at. all the time.
♡⭑. luke wouldn't be a pushover. well, he doesn't wanna be called that but he certainly gives you a wider berth when it comes to you. it's lowkey a little enabling but he's happy to supply whatever it is thats making you kick up such a fuss. anything for his girl.
♡⭑. luke has a handle on you. he carries that with a quiet confidence. its the kind of self reassurance that's born from having the repeated experience of it that it's become second nature. he doesn't even blink when something ruffles your feathers, he just gets a move on so he can do whatever he can to soothe you.
♡⭑. luke would be the kind of guy to smooth over the situation if you throw a tantrum in public. he would be smooth about it, he wouldn't place the blame on you entirely but he'd also deescalate the situation. "sorry about that. you know how the heat gets people sometimes." or "she's just upset at something, don't take it personally it's not your fault." he does a lot of that when necessary and he does it without any thanks needed and he'll remove the both of you from the situation as soon as possible.
♡⭑. luke is happy to spoil you in any way he can. he's also come to learn that spoiling you with attention and affection is the easiest solution to whatever it is that's got you worked up. he'll laugh, and whatever has been occupying him will be put down, and he'll go to you and smother you with as much as your heart desires.
♡⭑. luke would find it strange when people tell him their observations about his relationship with you. the "she's your girlfriend?" "you okay there friend?" asked his way makes him tilt his head because yes, that is his girlfriend and he's more than okay, he's the happiest he's ever been, really.
♡⭑. when people still insist or say things a little more bluntly his way he think they're ridiculous. "she just doesn't seem like the kind you'd go for." and "but she's so...opinionated." and he laughs, it's amusing to him and it makes him feel a little more assured in his relationship with you. because he knows how you are, in fact, he's the only one who knows you the best and these kinda conversations prove it to him.
♡⭑. he'll just shake his head and dismiss these baseless quick assumptions about you. he would just say "don't know about that she's the sweetest." and he doesn't care that it makes him look so love-struck because he is and he's happy right where he is.
♡⭑. luke loves it when you give him attitude. loves it when you roll your eyes and your answers come out clipped, near one to a few word answers, stomp your feet and the whole fuss of it! he loves it, he thinks its so adorable and it fills him with a sense of personal compulsion to provide and fix whatever got you in this kinda mood. it would be his personal mission to fix it for you, he wants to be that for you and he'll do it as many times necessary so he can get you smiling again.
♡⭑. don't get him wrong though, he'll push back when he needs to. he's just kind and smart enough to frame it differently so it wouldn't seem like he's overbearing. luke never lets you storm away from him. nope. never. you came to him with an attitude and you expect him to fix it, he will. you just can't bring up an issue with him and not do something about it. he'll pull you close and his hands are warm against your hips and he's allready rubbing your back, arms and slowly climbing to your hair while he's looking down at you and asking "what's wrong lovely girl?" "what's got my pretty girl in such a mood hm?" "yes princess?"
♡⭑. luke has learned to be strategic with you. its was only natural for him to pick up certain tips and tricks when it comes to you and he's uses them without shame, especially when they remain so so effective. he's learned early on that he needs (that's what he tells himself) to put his hands on you when you're in a mood. the more contact the better.
♡⭑. luke talks to you so sweetly all the time especially when you're being mean to him. it's like water off his back, it doesn't phase him at all because all he sees is his girl and something is wrong and he should fix it. it's so simple to him. "c'mon baby, you have to tell me what's wrong if you want me to fix it." "you're such a smart girl. and so pretty, use your words for me, please, you can do that yeah?"
♡⭑. one of his favorite tricks he uses against you is when you're going off in a heated tangent of what's upset you this time. he's listening the entire time he promises but his eyes eventually fall down to the way your lips move and he likes the shine and color of the lipgloss you're using; it looks so pretty and you're just gorgeous and before you know it, he's kissing you hard and he doesn't have any plans on stopping soon.
♡⭑. he could feel that attitude slipping out of you the longer he kisses you and he smiles against your mouth because he's solved the issue and youre no longer upset; that's a victory for him already. he's got the cheek and audacity to pull away form the kiss and go "you were saying baby?" and what were you saying again? huh, doesn't matter now.
♡⭑. luke loves it when you huff and pout. clearly there's something you want and most times he does give in. he'll give you attention and coax whatever it is you're holding off to tell him so he can give it. but sometimes, he'll tease right back. he's going to make you come to him and say what you wanted right in front of him and he'll smile so wide and give you exactly what you want and more and he's so proud.
♡⭑. when your moods turn really bad and consoling you takes a little more time and attention, he'll stay and be endlessly patient with you. he doesn't let you storm off and he's always gently reminding you that being upset is more than alright but that it shouldn't carry you away. he doesn't allow certain phrases aimed at demeaning you, him or the relationship go unchecked. he's never mean in return; he doesn't have that in him ever.
♡⭑. sometimes these moments ends with you in tears, emotionally worn and exhausted but its all usually resolved or talked through that lets you know that everything is going to be alright. "there's my sweet girl." is what luke will say in such a deep and endearing affectionate tone, every time with a smile while he's gathering you into his arms and wiping away the tears and kissing you all over.
♡⭑. luke loves his mean and bratty girl. he's right where he wants to be and he doesn't need other people to worry simple because if they don't get it, then they don't. his girl is his to manage and he's doing extraordinarily well and he wants to be the only one doing it.
