About the Author

Not even twelve hours after some of the best sex of his life, he finds himself shaking Axe’s hand across the table at his sister’s favorite cafe… after conking out on the man’s bedsheets, stepping on his cat’s tail, and dashing out in the middle of the night.

Natalie firmly plants herself back in his life, alongside new group of pals, a best friend he never saw coming, and a man who openly wants Ryan. A little at a time, Ryan learns what it’s like to feel less lonely.

sooo i'm maydayparade8123/may from the pjo fandom like a decade ago and i orphaned my works on ao3 because i'm silly... someone asked if there's a place to read all of my works since searching on ao3 isn't the easiest after someone orphans fics and i wanted everyone still following or checking this blog to know that i made a collection with all of my percy jackson fics in there :)

sorry if this is intruding because the fics are orphaned on ao3 but did you write Treading Water (a percabeth fic posted in 2013) because i binge read it last night and its so good im actually obsessed with guidance counselor psych student percy

Hello! I read some of your pjo fics when I was younger, and I constantly mourn the loss of the playlist that I believe you made for Happenstance on Grooveshark. Im like 95% it introduced me to Mayday Parade, which then became my middle school emo/pop punk phase.

If you happen to have a list of what was on that playlist Id be eternally grateful (i can only remember Havent Met You Yet by Micheal Buble and Ironic by Alanis Morsiette, i think there was a Mayday Parade song and an Every Avenue song?)

But if not then no worries! Regardless I wanted to let you know of your impact on me! The internet is a crazy place!

the other side of creativity and bravery and encouragement and support and to be quite frank - visibility and attention - is that you WILL annoy people! and that is also perfectly okay and part of the bravery of the process - putting stuff out there and sharing it knowing that its purpose is NOT to be Loved By All. It is to CONNECT you with other people who will UNDERSTAND you not to grovel for clout from people who aren’t really interested. we don’t make things to be liked by bots. we make them to find each other.

writing fanfiction is just. i’m being so creative and original. i’m plagiarizing everyone by accident. i’m a genius. i’m cringe. i’m too angsty. i’m too cheesy. this is not in character. it doesn’t matter that it’s not in character because these are my characters now. i love my hobby. this is the worst possible use of my time. i’m seeking validation. i’m projecting my own personal problems onto this story and i’m barely hiding it. i know so many words and i’m using all of them wrong. im on tumblr posting about it instead of writing it.
