It’s all so familiar, like stumbling around a corner and suddenly finding yourself at home.

A follow-up to what lives inside our chests (and tries to lead us home).  It’s shorter than what I’d planned but as I started writing into canon-verse, I slipped out of Eijun’s voice and into Miyuki’s and it was a mess and then I hit a wall.  So please please take this instead.

Eijun rolls his eyes but he’s smiling so wide his cheeks hurt.   He scratches lightly at that spot under Sawanko’s chin, grinning a little harder when his tongue starts to loll out again, all loose and sloppy.

“Don’t be like that,” He says as he wriggles his fingers against Sawanko’s smiling snout.  “Stop pretending you think he doesn’t love you.”

“Hm.” Kazuya says, ambiguously.
