“M’ on,” He muttered an answer, voice glitched. Must’ve yelled too much during that fight. “Just a commercial break.”

A sigh of relief, and then the first voice asked, “How are you feeling?”

A sound escaped him, something mixed between a whine and a groan. He did not want to answer that question, because truthfully? He did not feel the greatest. He certainly did not feel groovy. He felt weird. Like he’d gone through a trash compactor and his entire body was now TV static. It was not groovy, not at all.

“It’s okay Tenna,” The second voice added, her voice a gentle sprinkle among the static, “You can be honest with us.”

“Ugh…”

Oh hey since I’m not trying to really stay anonymous with my writing anymore, here’s my personal for anyone curious @enigmadoodles

Hey, I read Change. Everything that has happened so far is awesome and right not it provides the perfect jumping off point for something in a fanfic I am writing, a fusion of tfa, tfp, and some G1. Can I use your story? I'll give you credit and let them know I only used up to chaper 18.

I’m very glad you appreciate the story, but I’m not quite sure what you’re asking here? 

I don’t mind if you take inspiration from my story, or even write a sort of sequel, but taking over 85k words of my unfinished fanfic and making it into your own thing is a bit, uh, too much I guess. 

So no, you can’t take all 18 chapters of Change and publish them in your own story, because I’m pretty sure that borderline plagiarism. You can, however, say it’s a sort of sequel to Change, linking back to my story instead of reposting everything.

Or, as I must always suggest as a writer, you could write something similar, but without copying everything I wrote word for word. I won’t lie, writing 85k words took a long time, but seeing people enjoying the story makes it worth the effort. Taking 85k words from someones else’s writing? Well, I’m sure people will enjoy it, but wouldn’t feel so much better to see people loving something you created on your own?

Besides, Change isn’t finished yet! Just because I haven’t had the drive to work on it lately, doesn’t mean I’ve given up on it! I’ve just been more focused on other franchises, and even a new, non-tf, fic that I haven’t spoken about here.

Oh, and one more thing? If you want to do anything with my writing, I would much prefer you ask off anon if possible, so I know who you are and what you do.

We got the freedom we always wished for, and we ruined it for ourselves. We became what we hated, and we deserve what’s comin’ to us. At this point, the only difference between us is that I’ve begun to regret what I’ve done. You haven’t.”

The puffball nodded while still hugging him, but loosened his grip slightly as he looked up and asked, “Why are we fighting them? How do we know they’re mean?”

“They trespassed into our home, isn’t that enough reason to not trust them?” He asked, looking at the little one, but he wasn’t convinced. “Besides, if Dark Mind said they were a threat, that means they’re our enemies right?”

“Oh don’t worry, I’m quite adept at finding ways to get revenge in rather unorthodox ways.” Knock Out assured, crossing his arms, “But that’s for another time, you said we had business with each other. So if you don’t mind, I’d rather us attend to that in a civilized manner.”

How many I failed to save because they got into fights with your team of Autobots?” Knock Out growled, his wings folding against his back in irritation as his voice lowered, “Whether or not you think of them as more than drones, Vehicons are alive. They have sparks, they think, they wanted the fighting to be over. Decepticons may have created them for their purpose in war, but you Autobots slaughtered them because of it.”

Long snippet but I’ve been waiting to write this line since I started this story, chapter 13 is up!
