Another Labyrinth (Ca Event | Homura Koyomi Kousuke)
Through process of elimination, it was easy to infer that he was Nitou and she was Koyomi. It actually was to their benefits that at least those two knew each other. Homura herself was always the odd one out, so it wasn’t like this was anything new to her.
"Homura Akemi. I guess you could also consider me a mage… although, probably not in the same vein as you. Anyways, like I said before, the sooner we get through this, the better."
A quick glance at his ring would help to confirm her theory. It didn’t even resemble the ring their soul gems would take. Along with the fact that Incubator’s only targeted girls.
Withdrawing her pistol from the shield. Ejecting the magazine to make sure that a full clip was loaded into the gun. Reloading the gun and pulling the slide back to chamber a bullet. Keeping the barrel away from the two in front of her to prevent any accidents.
Turning her attention to Nitou since he was leading the group. “If you happen to have any type of weapons in that bag, you might want to take them out. Better to be prepared for whatever is to some.” Turning her attention back to Koyomi before addressing her.
"I suppose you two met somewhere before? He claims to be a mage. so I assume you must also be aware of the existence of magic. Koyomi, was it? Would you be comfortable with me referring to you by your first name?" Naturally defaulting to Japanese honorifics. For that reason, it made her feel a little uneasy to refer to someone she just met by first name.

Right. It appeared that Nitou was as she always remembered him to be, energetic and nonsensical, as well as only taking in words the way he wanted them to be. It wasn’t a terribly bad way to live, but she still had to raise an eyebrow over some of his words and actions every now and again.
It seemed they finally got around to introducing themselves, not that it took very long considering two-out-of-three already knew each other. After hearing Homura’s issue with her name, it was a guess that the three of them came from similar cultures. How similar were they though if she too was a mage?
"Oh, my name is only Koyomi, so it’s fine." It was a simple answer with a deeper meaning to it. But going into it would delve into a whole ‘nother topic that no one quite needed right now.
"As for the two of us, yes, we come from the same world. He’s… sort of a friend, I guess." She’d never admit to his face that he really was her friend. “And I am, it’s difficult not to be when I need it to live.” A blunt answer but it was probably due to the stress of the situation that made her uncaring about her words.
"Anyway, we should get going. Which way?"

Their other companion-- Homura -- may have seemed young, but she was straight to the point and down to business. Not that what she was saying wasn't right, of course, but... is this what the youth was like nowadays? Kousuke frowned, feeling a little old.
His eyes widened as the young girl calmly pulled out a gun, handling it with the seasoned expertise that did not quite belong to a middleschooler.
"Woah woah w-o-a-h!" Kousuke scoots to her, peering at the gun she had just brought out in amazement. "Yo, that thing's the real deal, isn't it!? You seem to pack a lot for a tiny package, Homura-chan!"
Kousuke raised his eyebrows as she asked about his backpack. "Ah, here? No weapons, but I have something just as important!" He grinned, and continued, "Besides, there's nothing to worry about! My fists pack plenty of firepower! And just in case things get too messy, I can transform too!"
His face faltered again at Koyomi's comment. Sort of a friend? Just what was that attitude?! Is this what they called tsundere?! Still, he was relieved, though puzzled, to see the girl was just as he knew her.
"Don't worry 'bout anything, Koyomi, we'll be out of here in one piece, or my name ain't Kousuke Nitou!" He could feel the girl's tension as she spoke, and figured he should try to pump her up--
Actually, no-- weird as it was, he could feel it quite literally.
Shaking off the odd thought, he points ahead. "There seems to be a clearing over there! I don't think that's the end just yet, though, but wanna go see what's over there?"
