I participated in the Ludum Dare game jam this weekend! I made my game, "Soul Purpose," from scratch in 48 hours. You play as a wizard who summons random souls from the underworld, trying to find his lost love. But to afford the ritual supplies (candles) he works in a call center during the day. it was really fun to make and I got way farther with it than I was expecting for the time allowed!

it's playable on the web (link below) although it may not work on osx (due to engine limitations with web export)

working on a 48 hour game for the ludum dare game jam!!

the theme is "summoning", and my poor wizard is trying to summon his lost love back from the land of the dead.

Unfortunately for him, summoning a soul from beyond the veil is a lot like pulling for characters in a gacha game-- it costs money in materials, and it also doesn't let you choose who you want.

So in order to afford this until he can return his dearly departed to him, he needs to work at the complainuserv call center, hearing customer complaints and recording them into their system.
