I want to see how far into Shadow of War I can get recruiting only the orcs that hit on Talion. Wish me luck.
the cutest slayer on the block 🤭
I don't take criticism.

I'm curious to know how do you think was Celebrimbor's relationship with his uncles? Do you think Celegorm never "forgave" him after Nargothrond? Do you think Maedhros was surprised to hear that or nope since Celegorm and Curufin did rlly bad things? I rlly like to follow the Silmarillion where Amrod and Amras were both alive and maybe because they were younger they had a close relationship with Celebrimbor?
This was longer than I imagined sorry😶

No no it’s okay that it’s long! Lol
But I certainly think that Celebrimbor’s relationship with Celegorm would certainly be just as tarnished as his relationship with his father. Celegorm is Curufin’s accomplice, it would sit very sourly and hypocritically with Celebrimbor if he didn’t treat him similarly.
And I don’t think Celegorm would “forgive” Celebrimbor for tossing his relationships away with them. Especially for the emotional turmoil it would bring upon Curufin to have his son disown him. Which would only fester and get progressively worse as time goes on and Celebrimbor does nothing to rekindle anything with them.
I think Maedhros would be surprised to hear what Curufin and Celegorm had done in Nargothrond. Even though they eventually do other bad things, it was the first majorly big bad thing that they did, and to their own family member no less. I think he’d have a fairly neutral and content relationship with Celebrimbor, as Celebrimbor would look at his eldest Uncle as reasonable and be able to see how dutiful and just Maedhros is before the second kinslaying.
Celebrimbor would feel the exact same way about Maglor, probably more so about Maglor since his temperament is so gentle. Whenever it is that Celebrimbor leaves Nargothrond, if its before the second kinslaying, he’d certainly take time with them.
With Caranthir, I think his relationship would be rather distant, though it’s not bad distant. It’s just that Caranthir lives so far away, it’s hard for him to maintain that relationship. When there are any times of travel to go see Caranthir- should he want to tag along with Maedhros and Maglor- it would more than likely involve his father and Celegorm. Leaving him to sit those out.
Though He’d probably write to him often if he could manage it. His relationship with Ambarussa would probably be the same as Caranthirs. Celebrimbor would have a good relationship with them as well, but of course the distance complicates it. Though he’d probably see them more often than he would Caranthir.
Ambarussa probably did have a close relationship with Celebrimbor so the distance in theirs in Beleriand was probably hard. But something the three of them merely dealt with considering everything that was there.
Though of course- once he catches wind of them once more seeking out the Silmaril, with them stalking Luthien and lying in wait for the jewel, Celebrimbor would begin heavily distancing himself from the rest of his uncles. Knowing that there is no point nor sense in trying to talk them out of retrieving the gem.
Come time where they are talking of going to Doriath, Celebrimbor cuts contact completely. Not wanting any part of it, not even to hear it.
Hello! My name is Ruslan Shapolov
I am a book illustrator.
The presented author’s project is a comprehensively designed book The Silmarillion. Created within one year. I did it for myself as a fan of Tolkien’s wonderful world. The book consists of over 50 illustrations, 400 pages, drop caps for each chapter, marginals. Covers in the form of a silmaril stone wrapped in a dust jacket - a dragon skin! I would be glad if the publisher is interested. Everything was drawn in Photoshop, a brush imitating a pencil, illustrations in this technique look like they were drawn on paper.
This book has not yet been published, is waiting for its publisher;)
Open to new book projects!
It is interesting to participate in the design of a children’s book.

I overheard one of my Olog Beastmasters say this to an enemy caragor during a siege assault: “You not a threat, you a beautiful creature.”
At least I assume he was talking to a Caragor.
Just a little detail from Shadow of Mordor I thought people might like to know about—for the majority of the game (and in SoW) Talion’s eyes are blue.
But in the flashbacks at the start of the game before he gets possessed by Celebrimbor? They’re brown.
His eyes change colour because of the wraith.
I went through all that trouble importing you before Shadow of Mordor servers shut down
and this is how you do me?😭
Okay, so, you know, imagine you’re ambling around Mordor, maybe you’re taking your caragor out for a walk, it’s a nice day, the Morgai flies are buzzing gently, ash falls from the sky in tender flakes, when you see HIM! The coolest looking orc captain you’ve ever seen. Absolutely stunning. Tall, massive shoulders, dreamy eyes. Looks a bit like like a Batman villain but less crabby.
Let’s call him Zunn (because that is his name).
This captain shall be my captain, you think.
So you turn on elf-vision, tag him, and - oh no! He’s got Iron Will.
That sucks, but you can work around that. Shame him a couple of times until he comes to his senses, then gently level him back up. It’s annoying and a bit risky due to the possibilty of you breaking his mind beyond repair during the process, but, hey, he’ll live and he’ll still look cool.
But then you browse through his traits and all of a sudden all hope is gone, because not only does this beautiful, beautiful orc have Iron Will, he’s also got Unbreakable.
Because someone during development of this game thought, you know what would be fun in an Orc-collecting-game? Making some orcs un-collectable!
And now you got a problem. Now you gotta kill this beautiful orc - except, there may still be a way you can have him, without having him, because Zunn the Beautiful is a Trickster who uses doubles of himself as decoys! And to make his intro speeches extra long, because every single one of doubles just has to make a cute one-line before the ass-kicking commences.
Anyways, this dude got doubles. So all you gotta do now, is let one of his doubles kill you, so that the double gets promoted to captain and you can collect the double!
Easy, right? What could possibly go wrong?

this cured my depression. my anxiety. my bills. my job. everything’s fine. i hope you have a good day
Some love for Celebrimbor. Ink & digital color.
Another gem from Shadow of Mordor:
Orc: “They say there’s a Ranger that kills from the sky!”
Me, climbing up a tower: “Well now I have to make a point of it.”
I feel like Talion and Glorfindel would get along really well.
But also... the second they met Mandos would have a fucking stroke, cause DAMMIT ITS THE TWO PEOPLE WHO ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO COME TO MY HALLS AND STAY.
(They and Gandalf are the founders of the Fuck You Balrogs Club)
I was getting a little tired of Shadow of War Celebrimbor’s negativity but then I remembered that one time he made a friend who ended up using his battered corpse as a banner… Not exactly conducive to a sunny world view, is it? Sorry, Tyelpe!
