feels like FOREVER since i hit another hunna but here i am, 400, and guess what? I don’t even care that my 400th follower was a pornbot, because it gives me an excuse to give a shout-out to some of my goddamn DAY ONES. 

Also, apologies for skimping out on some kind of fancy fuckin’ graphic, look, i’m going to level with you reader, i’m still buzzed from last nights dodgy house-party and i quite frankly don’t have the time, effort or financials required to do something in photoshop. Hell, I quite like this little simplistic thing I’ve done. Fuck it, i don’t start trends i fucking finish them. I am still here !!!

I promise you all I’ve not given up on Estela or her interactions with all your divine characters. But, as some of you may know, I’ve come into a new job recently which is very exciting but also slightly more demanding.

I’m so very stoked to announce that i’ll be adulting it as the house of commons in London come a week and a half to represent the charity I now work for. Which yes, I am more excitement that person right now but also means I have an awful lot of paperwork and researching to get through. 

Following that it’ll be my birrrrrthday so I’m then granting myself some peace and quiet for a few days to relax and unwind. 

That being said, I have every intention of coming back soon. Pls pls pls feel free to hit me up for my snapchat (be aware that 90% of my snaps are my dogs tbh) or kik (also same again lbr. God i love my dogs). I miss you all very dearly & I will be back soon

He’s not WRONG. She’ll give him that much as silver grass hues examine the state of his glass. Stature is more RELAXED than usual, lounging over velvet chaise. Doubtlessly this is due to her husbands ABSENCE, away on business, it allows her time to BREATH.  “Then perhaps you ought to be drinking more. Sometimes I wonder what the liqueur in you might say.” Smile is whimsical, drags her nails GENTLY against the fabric before eyes that had studied him cast AWAY. Stretching for her glass once more she adds, “It’s impolite to allow a lady to drink alone.”

D’ABLO

I don’t see what’s so unfortunate about it.

That may have something to do with the fact that it’s obvious when D’Ablo comes by, though he hasn’t exactly talked to the boy. He brings his cats and they go wherever they want.

He’s not quite sure what he’s expecting (certainly not a da Vinci-level work of art) but green and purple cats are the last thing he would have ever thought. And their paws, good God. Andhimself. He may be thin, but in no way does he qualify as a stick figure. And, thank you, he knows he’s Not A Cat. Most of the time.

But he meets Estela’s eye and forces a rather genuine-looking smile. After all, the boy drew a picture, supposedly, for him. It’s touching. It’s beautiful. Then, lower, what do I do with this?

The boy seems THRILLED, glittering hues and missing toothed smile. “Thank you, Sir,” Is the murmured response. (He is not a TALKATIVE child. Shy of nature and softly spoken.) Head ducks again and he continues with his some what frantic art work. A smile sinks easily onto Estela’s lips (more natural than before, DIVINE in its lustre) and she goes so far as to restrain a laugh, “Why, frame it, of course. What else? Rafael is quite talented. No doubt it’ll be worth something some day.” Tone quietens, jokes aside, “So long as he see’s you leave WITH it, do whatever you will from there.” But, HONESTLY, the kitchen is CROWDED with pictures he’s drawn and his own bedroom walls have been doodled to their DEATH.

There’s a certain amount of speculative agitation to allowing D’Ablo around Rafael. It is not that she doesn’t TRUST him so much as she realises she should know BETTER than to. But, she can feel the boys eyes burn into her back from where he sits, CRAYON in hand, on the other side of the room. Coal skirt ruffles as she glances towards him and hues are met with a flustered TANGLE of dark curls that shoot down in sheepish form. A RESIGNED sigh, black gloved hands hold out the folded paper to the man, 

 “Rafael drew this for you.    He’s quite proud of it.     Unfortunately, he’s rather enamoured by         the idea of cats recently.”

(An awkwardly drawn kitten in a VIBRANT purple, around it are more cats, green this time. Hundreds, in fact. Centre piece is a stick man -D’Ablo, himself-, labelled ‘NOT A CAT’.) 

                      Be NICE, her own hues warn. He’s a SOFT boy.

Sits by the river and there are SNOWDROPS threaded through her hair, white blossoms CONTRAST with the black mourning fabrics she has settled on. Faux fur coat is draped over frame, protects her from the CHILL that’s settled in the winter air. Ahead, Rafael plays with a wooden soldier, throws it high into the air and struggles to catch it again with BUBBLING laughter. Estela keeps a watchful eye, he is far enough away from the waters edge to be SAFE and yet still she worries. 

The thin mist over the garden prevents her from OBSERVING the others form until he is quite close, and despite her vague TRUST in his nature at this stage, she cannot help but feel TENSE at having Rafael in his presence. 

       “Won’t you sit?” She says finally. “You’re tiring me out just looking at you.”

Draped in black silk the woman smiles, she appears breathless, eyes glittering- French doors still parted from where she has entered. ( Outside her son still frolics, now under the eyes of the staff. No wonder she appears somewhat winded. He plays hopscotch on the patio, with boundless energy. ) Walks forward, “The butler told me we had a visitor. To what do I owe the pleasure?”

Watches SOFTLY from the balcony as Rafael runs around the fountains, Alejandro (ever FAITHFUL dog) barks beside him, tail wagging with unbridled enthusiasm. The boy LAUGHS, holds a stick just out of reach of the dogs jaws. Hues turn at the sound of french doors opening, the rustle of the drapes being pushed aside. Smile stretched LAZILY she turns for a moment to acknowledge the other, “Viper.” The name rolls like a breath of fresh air, there is RELIEF in the knowledge that they need not hide in shadows anymore. “I didn’t expect to see you.” (although she is pleased she has.) “It’s quite late.”
