This is my #inspiration ! My dear friend Ms. Mikki, her Japanese name Akiko Namiki made these dolls over 50 years ago with just #paper . She gave them to me about 3 years ago after she was diagnosed with liver cancer. I was blown away that she wanted me to have them, and the skill that went into making them. Even though she was 81, she was one of my best friends! She was my advisor and sounding board when I first started my business. She was such a great cheerleader for me. When I received the copy of the first magazine my flowers were in I rushed to her house to show her. She has been gone for two years, but it's hard to be sad knowing that she's reuinited with her wonderful husband Walter. It makes me smile to think of how happy she is! She was an amazing lady, that is missed! #origami #friendship
