When you put yourself in a box, you are missing out everything that’s outside of the box, so why would you even put yourself there?
I mean, you have an ideology, YOUR ideology, and nobody can take that away from you, because no matter what happens, it will be YOUR ideology.
BUT, when you decide to label yourself, to say your ideology is only as good as the average of the people who are part of the label, you’re limiting yourself, you’re closing away your mind, you’re saying you’re not smart enough to call yourself an individual, so you need to feel part of a big group, or else you don’t exist, isn’t that it?
Because that is what happens when you decide to affiliate with a group, granted, you’ll get a lot of “friends” who share the group’s ideology, and who will support you because you carry their flag, but you sacrifice your own mind, you lose part of your identity, and worse, you lose objectivity, because in order to be part of the group, you’ll be ready to attack other groups.
Be an individual, be yourself, have your own thoughts, don’t be part of a movement that milks you for profit, disregard movements, acquire viewpoints.
(PS: If you want to use a tag to be recognized, use it, but don’t become the tag, we’re tri-dimensional people, embrace that)
