Rose infrequently saw MK doing her treatments, but it never really caught her too off guard. She’d done her fair share of research over the years, and just did her best to make it seem like it was something that everyone did, like it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Rose smiled and clapped a little when MK got up to get her the bag, “I love the holidays!” she said as she accepted the gift. MK was always consistent with the bags. Rose loved wrapping presents a lot, but she did have to admit that the bags were a convenient thing and very MK. “I will take that challenge, prepare to be defeated by my unfair advantage” said Rose as she counted down for them to start unwrapping. Rose finished first, obviously, because there was no complex bow around the whole thing. “Oh my god it’s so precious” said Rose as she took the potato lamp out of the bag. “and he’s rechargeable” she said as she looked at the packaging. “You get me, he’s the cutest thing of all time” Rose said as she tucked her hair behind her ear. She loved little things, she had a whole shelf in her room of small trinkets that people had gotten her over the years. It was one of the only unorganized things in her room, yet everything still had it’s perfect place and was dusted every few days. “Also, I win” she giggled, just the icing on the cake.
“You’re like a little ball of Christmas joy,” MK teased, Rose’s constant positivity was one of the hallmarks of her personality, at least in MK’s eyes. When Rose took her up on the offer, MK nodded. “Bring it,” she laughed. She’d only just started to unwrap the present when Rose was holding up the little potato light, at which point MK stopped. “Do you like it? I just thought he looked cute,” she grinned, looking over at her friend. “Okay, fine, so you had an advantage, but I’m right behind you,” she laughed, finishing unwrapping the gift from Rose. “Oh my God, you got me bath bombs?” She smiled widely, holding one up to look at it closer. Anyone that knew her knew she loved baths. And face masks too, as she saw those also in the box - the only thing that sucked about them is she had to take her oxygen off for them so she couldn’t walk much if she wanted to do them, but that was alright. “And what are these ...?” She started to unwrap a little wrapped ball, to reveal a musical themed ornament. “Awe,” she cooed, holding it up, before turning to Rose and giving her a hug. “Thank you so much.” And she really meant it too, they were such thoughtful gifts. “You so win at Christmas.”
