I thought I could fix it. So, I didn’t hurt him. I stopped myself. So, I don’t understand why. WHY?! Why are they still like this?!

You always talk about how much you hate being blamed for humanity’s sins. You know, “The Devil made me do it”, and I think I know why you hate it so much, because deep down, you blame yourself just as much… if not more. You have to stop taking responsibility for things you can’t control.

Ruin wasn’t intimidated but he was made angry, a flare of heat radiating off of himself as he snarled back in Malcore’s direction. He had no fangs to display, but the challenge was still there, “I Am Not A Thing! And if fire cannot kill you, maybe tearing that heart from your chest will!” -ruinandashes

The feeling of heat hits him - were Malcore anything but essentially fireproof, he’d be concerned. But this was a man that had been repeatedly seen dipping into the lava pools to enjoy a relaxing few moments to himself.His eyes remain locked on the other, calm as his rage intensifies. “Again - creature - the invitation is present. I do not fear that which I know is below me.” Mal returns, his smooth accent rolling from a honey-dipped tongue. “That would require you to be able to lay a hand on me, and you will be unable to. How are you even aware I’m presently speaking to you? I wasn’t simply raised to be my father’s right hand… My mother held a great deal of magical prowess.” He says. “I do, however, dare you to attempt to lay a single hand on me. Perhaps then I’ll entertain the thought of my organs being forcibly ripped out as you suggested.”

Admittedly there is some surprise at the horns, but the insult and threat did not go unnoticed either, “Seems I’m not the only /pest/ here. Well come on then, have at me. Any time, any place~” -ruinandashes

He snarls - lips curled back like an alpha displaying his sharp teeth. Malcore glares back at the other, only seeking to intimidate him. “I predate you, childish creature.” The infernal hisses, a growl rumbling in his throat. “Not only that, but fire cannot kill me. I’d sooner throw you into the sea than deal with a petulant ember of a thing.” He says back.“You can land the first blow, if you’re able. I don’t have time to waste on something that could be easily snuffed out with a stiff breeze.” Mal adds, flames licking at his tongue.

“I’ve seen you in the lava pools, it’s not wise to trespass in my king’s territory...” -ruinandashes

Malcore would otherwise be unbothered - however this creature begged to be fought. He holds his ire, fingers juggling a ball of flame across and through his fingertips like a magician performing an idle coin trick. “You’re one to speak – King Vulcan intrudes where he was not welcome in the first place, creature.” Malcore replies. He drops his guise, hands dragging over his head to sprout his usual horns as his tail flicks in agitation. “I eat sparks of flame like you – hold your tongue, and perhaps we won’t need to bargain over your fate any further.” The infernal hisses, tongue spitting sparks as he speaks.

He slowly puts his hands up, fixing the smaller with a dull stare.“Ahhhh.” He groans out, heavily exaggerating a bored scream. “You’ve scared me, I’m shaking in my shoes.” Malcore grunts.

A warlock who’s not really a warlock but he’s too dumb to realize because that’s what hunters do. Be stupid.

Is that gonna stop Mal from shooting the most provocative glances he can? No way. He’s actually adjusting himself so his robes billow in the wind just right.

Malcore hisses slightly - arms pinned to his body while he glowers down at the anonymous. “I would prefer you don’t touch me.” The infernal grunts, clearly displeased at the contact.

1. Where does your Guardian live?

:// Mal has a place in the City, but it’s rarely used. Since he’s an Ahamkara disguised, he moves around often but will use his flat as a place to rest and recuperate. 

2. Where in the solar system is your Guardian’s favorite place to be?

:// His favorite place to be is Mercury - it’s warmest there, and if he can slip away long enough he’ll try and fly close to the Sun out in open space (hopefully undetected by any Vanguard operations).

4. Is your Guardian in a relationship? How did they get together?

:// Mal is actively seeking out a Guardian that he’s attracted to - the sense of romance is weird to him, not being a human/awoken/exo, but he thinks this individual is special.

6. Favorite ship and sparrow? Does it mean anything to them?

:// Dinas Emras is his sparrow - the icon of a red dragon is his aesthetic. His ship is A Thousand Wings. With the description of “Extinguish the stars. Devour the planets. Soar through a universe of utter dark.” how could he not use it?

8. If they could only use one subclass for the rest of their immortal life, which would it be?

:// Dawnblade. He only typically fights with swords and hand cannons, and with his preference of solar he’s a total Dawnblade main forever.

3. Do they like the Crucible? Do they gloat after kills? If so, what emote is their favorite?

:// Malcore loves the Crucible – he’s big into the competitive scene and misses Trials of the Nine. He doesn’t gloat after kills, and if he does, it’s usually the Chair Pop emote so he can sit and stare an opponent’s Ghost down to really remind them of losing to him. 

11. What is their Ghost’s name? Does it mean something? Do they have a preferred shell?

:// He’s named his Ghost Ra - and she’s very sassy. The name doesn’t really have a meaning to him aside from it being easy to say. Her shell is the Sanctified Vigilance Shell.
