Jag har hittat en ny app för själv ord-övningar i svenska: ”quizlet”. Jag tror är det så praktisk och lätt. Till exempel kan ni studera orden av rivstart B1-B2 kapitel ett.

how do you syllabify "Merħba"? Is it Merħ-ba or Mer-ħba or Mer-ħ-ba? Or is it a weird in-between thing that makes you doubt whether stress and syllables really exist like in maghrebi arabic?

I honestly don’t know, I mean I guess I would say it’s mer-ħba but the weird in between thing makes sense too 😂

I’m currently reading up on beastiality (…long story, won’t go into it here) and apparently it was legal in Sweden for almost 70 years from the 1940′s.

I mean it wasn’t legal in reality in most cases as other laws for animal protection usually covered it, but. The law against having sex with animals was removed and people were against having it put back in place.

Är det viktigt att finnas en lag om det? Man borde titta på hur ofta gör manniskor det i landet? Jag tror inte att det är högst. Vad om andra länder som har en lag om det? Kanske, i sverige, det behövs inte det.

Do you happen to know of any good Swedish learning books for beginners? I just started learning Swedish using Duolingo and memrise but I'd like to get a book on the language that actually explains everything

I don’t know any of the top of my head, but I can go check for some at the library next week - I was sorting through the language shelves recently and I think I saw some that looked promising.

In the meantime, if any of my followers have any recommendations, please do feel free to add to this post.

Here is the result of my Duolingo study for swedish. I have started 5 months ago without knowing even “hej”. In this excel file, you can see everything in categorized worksheets such as verb, noun etc. If you go on the marked cell you can also see used sentences as comment. Thank you Duolingo thanks to you and also with hard work, now i am at the B2 level. I hope you will often use this file.
