What does your characters Amortentia smell like?

AMORTENTIA

Whiskey: The strong sweet, malty smell of whiskey is a smell that reminds Marlene of her father when she was little, he’d always have a dram after dinner. The smell reminds her of home and family.

Tobacco: This is a very potent smell, one that not many people find appealing, but to Marlene it holds so many different feelings and memories, it reminds her of her grandfather smoking in front of the fire at night, reminds her of shared cigarettes while having fun with her friends, secret adventures with her older brother Donnie (he’d be sneaking off to have a cigarette.)

Leather: The smell of leather in Marlene’s opinion is a bloody fantastic smell. Especially when it’s aged, it reminds Marlene about getting her very first set of quidditch pads and of long nights huddled up in a overly large leather jacket, of drunken kisses where she’d grab the collar.

The Grass after a thunderstorm: This reminds Marlene of the beginning of the quidditch season, when the grass is fresh.  It hold so much promise for the season ahead, it reminds her of misty morning walks, it smells so fresh, it almost refreshes you as a person.

I’ve done a few dangerous things in my time, I think the most dangerous thing I’ve done recently is a stakeout that almost went very wrong. Or it could be the time my brother and I snuck into the farm next door and almost got shot, because the farmer thought the rustling was rabbits.
