💍APRIL KEPNER.

“oh, there’s my sweet little ladybug!” april cooed affectionately as her daughter was handed off into her arms, giving a little bounce to adjust her and burying her nose in the soft curls on top of harriet’s head. “did you have fun with daddy last night? because mommy had so much fun last night. mommy wants you to have so much fun, little miss.” her voice in higher than its usual pitch as she addressed her daughter, nearly ignoring the figure of her ex-husband as she did so, still irritated from what he had brought up last night. “mommy’s ready to have fun with you tonight, aren’t you ready? we’re gonna have so much fun.”
d e s p i t e l a s t n i g h t ’ s d i s a g r e e m e n t, jackson had not stopped worrying about her. april was no longer acting like herself. he had heard what arizona had said about her, but did not trust her judgment on the matter. he knew her better than anyone ever had, even if now they were divorced. ❝hey, april,❞ he greeted although she said nothing to him. he forced a smile for a short moment. ❝you feeling okay? no banana bag this morning.❞ he pointed out, hoping that she hadn’t followed through with her plans.
