THE MOTHER BEAST INCIDENT //: HEADCANON LOG.
In this heavily-divergent canon, the motherbeast incident did not happen in the same terms as it did in SUMO.
THE MOST NOTABLE AND IMPORTANT FACT, HOWEVER is not how the event transpired, but how Lusamine “recuperated” from the effects and the experience of becoming the mother beast. IN TRUTH, the militaristic president never did such thing. Lost in a need to reverse this weakness keeping her in bed, weak for long weeks and months, lack of motivation turned to determination led by a vendetta. She began idle research and documentation of the VENOM in her blood, purposefully stalling the notion of healing its painful effects in order to understand it better.
LONG, MADDENING RESEARCH was fruitful. Lusamine had found what she wished to find. Power in her weakness. Manipulating the venom’s consistency and chemical properties, AETHER’S leader turned the corruption in her blood into strength. With the aid of the white coats working her laboratories and her own intellect, the president did the unthinkable; like one would do with a vaccine, she helped herself to the idea and soon, matter of fact, of turning the ULTRA BEAST influence in her veins into a dosage of an “antivenom” that would contradict its harmful nature on human being who had NOT ALREADY perished to the composition of being in such intimate contact with the beasts of the unknown.
LUSAMINE’S SENSES HEIGHTENED AND FALTERED with the introduction of this “antivenom” into her bloodstream. Her perception of things as a human thing rose sky-high, her reflexes grew unnaturally sharp and the composition of her muscles boldened in genetic makeup, twisting their structure and placing her capabilities beyond that of an even above-average human. Be it a man whose muscle mass surpassed an average sapient being or one whose intellect or mental edge; be it by IQ or else, was bolder than that of others. The president had risen past her human capabilities.
NEGATIVE EFFECTS SOON APPEARED OVER THE COURSE OF DAYS, HOWEVER. Lusamine had escaped the fatal possibilities of her scientific escapades driven by the lust for power, but not ruled out all of the obstructive ones. As weeks passed, she began to notice a loss in her more basic senses. The sensitivity of touch diminished, pain or pleasure became a distant, near impossible to attain feeling. Taste followed soon after, and last, her emotional spectrum became about as gloom as a funeral for a long lost friend. Tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for color in the human body, wilted and became scarce in her system too, nigh irreplaceable. It was the venom taking away her more human traits, to replace with those of beast kind, so she deducted. So she knew; the president later on admitted to her worried workers that she had known that the loss of these senses would soon come.
IN THE PURSUIT OF POWER, such menial, mortal things mattered little. LUSAMINE BELIEVED SHE HAD EVOLVED; HAD BECOME BETTER AND STRONGER THAN ANY OTHER HUMAN BEING.
