The didn’t catch up to his brain when he heard the question, but he felt his head nodding as he sank down to his knees. “Looking,” he said, a mindless like voice coming out his mouth as he starts to dig. “I do need help…looking. For the picture. So we can…take it to them.” He did’t care if they find it with just her eye or half of her, he wanted to unbury her photo so he can have it. “They can fix it?” he asked, like a desperate man. “All of it?”
Max watched as the other began his attempt, blindly digging for things as he looked on the edge of a breakdown. “Woah, hold on a moment...” He murmured, moving closer to hand the other some gloves. “Don’t want you to get damaged, too.” He offered, smiling before he began digging. “I’m sure they can at the very least restore it to it’s near glory. Or they can recreate it from how you describe. They’re very good, here...” Max knew he wasn’t selling them short. He’d had a restoration of his great grandfather done from damage in a fire. The canvas was almost completely ruined, but with his description as well as some of the portrait being visible, they’d done a marvelous job. “Where would it have been close to? This side of the room?”
