OKAY so that's Katelyn and Lucinda from MyStreet, an Aphamu roleplay series that ran from 2016-2019. (Katelyn and Lucinda also have different versions of them appearing in various other roleplay series created by Aphmau, but I won't get into that here)
In MyStreet Katelyn is serious, competitive, and has anger issues that she's trying to work on. She fears vulnerability, but despite her stoic facade she cares deeply about her friends and family. Lucinda is a witch and has a more playful, flirty personality, but is able to be serious when things are dire, and is also kind and resourceful.
NOW for the propaganda (my blog name literally used to be katecinda propaganda so this is very funny to me)
In Mystreet canon, Katelyn and Lucinda were best friends in high school, and later have a sort of rivalry. I personally am 99% convinced they are exes for these reasons (this is all canon)
They were shown as best friends and rivals Phoenix Drop High season 1 (the prequel series to Mystreet, where the characters are in high school)
In the series proper they are rivals. They seem friendly enough but are not implied to be close. What happened to make them less close.
At the end of Mystreet season 1, Katelyn insults Lucinda’s kissing skills, saying that Lucinda is actually a bad kisser and she just uses magic to make up for it. (and judging from Lucinda’s reaction, Katelyn said it because she knows what Lucinda’s kissing is like, not just as a random insult). Katelyn why do you know thisThis scene literally makes no sense if they didn’t kiss in the past.
While they are not shown interacting much after high school Lucinda is repeatedly shown to know/understand Katelyn very well
Katelyn is canonically bisexual, she has dated both men and women in Mystreet
Lucinda is heavily implied to be interested in women as well
They have various interactions throughout the seasons, but in season 6 of Mystreet Lucinda is able to break through the affects of the mind control on Katelyn. While Katelyn is ultimately able to break free because Lucinda reminds her of her love for her family, I also it also wouldn't have worked if Katelyn and Lucinda didn't actually care about each other a lot, and if Lucinda didn't know what made Katelyn tick/

(yes the context of this is that Katelyn got jealous over Lucinda flirting with Travis so they're fighting over a guy in that scene yes the homoerotic subtext is off the charts). istg Mystreet characters needed to learn what polyamory so the series romantic drama could get even more crazy. like a line earlier Lucinda says "you know Katelyn, you can't have Nicole, Aphmau, and Travis all to yourself" (Travis being Katelyn's endgame love interest (a romance that was not well written overall but which I do like anyway and think ultimately could have been good in the hands of better writers), Nicole being Katelyn's close friend who in that episode at the anime convention was dressed as Sapphire from Steven Universe with Katelyn dressed as Ruby (y'know Ruby and Sapphire the canon lesbian couple) and Aphmau being the main character as played by youtuber Aphmau aka Jessica Bravura whose relationship with Katelyn is a huge rabbithole with so much subtext and queerbaiting that I cannot get into right now because that would take so long to describe but is very fucking gay an)
Right after in moment Mystreet Season 34 they get in an actual physical fight (this is something that has apparently happened many times before with the two of them at cons) and later Aphmau says they should just "kiss and make up" and Katelyn reacts by saying "A-APHMAU! WHAT THE HECK!?" which is. normal. normal reaction one would have to a common reaction. At the end of the episode Lucinda goads Katelyn into kissing Travis (that's why she was flirting with Travis in the first place) and she says "you really are cute when you lose your cool" NORMAL BEHAVIOR Lucinda are you sure you don't want to kiss Katelyn and are just using Travis as a proxy for it ARE YOU SURE.
