Now, although Hoseok felt like he had always been pretty in tune with his emotions, he wouldn’t consider himself much of a crier. But there was something about just hearing Seokjin whisper into his hair—a comfort accompanied with a bittersweet nostalgia that teetered between heartache and solace. Disrupting the years of winter that had followed their separation, the loneliness and ache that came with their sparse conversions dwindling and forlorn happy birthday texts. Replacing it all with a heartbreaking, disheveling desperation. 

“Hyung, please. Please, help me make this work again.” Hoseok begged, unable to bear the sheer gravity of his emotions. 

Seokjins hold tightened, arms squeezing him closer. It was pleasant, grounding. “We will.” He spoke with a soft, vulnerable firmness that was hard to disagree with—determination.
