Copenhagen, Denmark One of the many amazing things about living in London- we can literally pop over to Scandinavia for the weekend! Flew out Saturday morning and were back at work in London by Monday lunchtime. Had the best couple of days wandering around this buzzing, beautiful city! Explored the canals by boat, went to Tivoli amusement park, had a picnic in the gardens, ate at a streetfood market on an island, and lots more!
Copenhagen, Denmark Suuuuch a beautiful clean, YOUNG city! Even though its slighly pricier than other european cities it is still well worth a visit, we mean it! We stayed in a cute little one room, yes one room, apartment. Just a couple of stops on the train, AirBnB worked a treat! If you go, which you must, then make sure you: Do the cannal cruise (weather dependant), visit Christianhaven (Epic street food market), Church of our Saviour (400 steps of gluteus maximus workout. We were right next to bells at 4pm when they decided to go off and nearly busrt our eardrums haha), AND ofcourse Nyhavn (this is where you see the cool colourful houses and get to chill by the canal. Oh yeah, we also witnessed a legalise Marijuana protest which was pretty entertaining.
Day Of The Dead, London.
So we thought we would try something different on our Saturday night and head to the Day Of The Dead party, with our funky flatmates. Well what a night indeed! We partied to god knows what hour of the morning looking as creepy as this. Gotta say, it was pretty hard to wash it off the next day :)

Have you ever been to Oxford? If not, then we highly recommend it! This quaint little English town was just as you would imagine it, beautiful old buildings, the university, the river, even the weather seemed to be far better than that of London, maybe we were just lucky!? It was so nice to finally meet Amelia's cousin and her family who live here.

Meeting Amelia's Kiwi / English family was so cool. We basically had a guided tour around Oxford. As you can see in the bottom picture, Allan from the Hangover (Matt) was in charge of the baby, it took quite a while for her to warm up to him, with his freaky hair and Mexican stash but the two became good pals by the end of the weekend.

Girls night out! Attended a ‘Five Star Burger’ night where the top 5 London chefs collaborated to create one amazing burger! No burger will ever compare to this masterpiece! Amazing night full of cocktails, craft beer, burgers, and salted caramel brownie! 5 stars, 6 happy girls!

Caught up with Amelia’s cousin Elisa (First cousin once removed), and her husband, Rob. Met their gorgeous little girl, Laila, and her extensive owl collection! We were utterly spoilt with delicious food and wine!

As the might Kiwis gathered together to celebrate the founding document of New Zealand, I believe we were the entertainment of the city - some loved us, and some understandably hated us!

Who knew Waitangi Day was so hugely celebrated in London? Thousands of kiwis roamed the streets and caused mayhem on the tubes for the 34th annual pub crawl!

Prague, Prague, Prague! One of the coolest cities I have been too. So basically I landed myself a job, BUT, it didn't start for another week, so what did I do?? booked a flight to Prague (return £50, BOOM) and left the next day. 'Spontaneous' some might say, but its those spontaneous moments that make the greatest memories. Even though I was a little bit lost without my travelling sidekick, Mealz, I still managed to have an amazing time. John Lennon Wall was among the many (must do) activities in Prague, just to name few: Prague Castle, free walking tours, chimney doughnuts (yummmm), Charles Bridge. Oh and the food, yes the Czech food is unreal, my favourite was the 'Roasted Duck with Red Cabbage and Dumplings' from Olympia, washed down with a pint of Pilsner Urquel.

Finally..... A place to call home!! Not long to go now until we give up our air bed (that we have to pump up 4 times a night) and move into this 4 bedroom slice of heaven. Cant wait to deck out our new pad.
