I m still thinking about Backrooms... like I have so many opinions on 'liminal horror' (like that 95% of it is absolute dogshit, and that most people dont know what liminal even means), the movie isn t perfect and there are things I d change personally, but it was so fucking good. I really like the way Kane Parsons conceptualizes the entire idea of the backrooms and how he handled scaling up from small youtube videos to an entire film. The fact that they built *that much* backrooms set for the film is insane.

one thing I keep thinking about from Backrooms is how captain clark looks terrified every time its on screen. those eyes are full of fear and i think its such an interesting detail
