terfs like “t will make you a hairy ugly MAN!” boo hoo i’m gonna get hairier and uglier just to spite you
And there will come a day when you suddenly go, oh. That’s why. That’s why it was worth living and sticking around. I understand.
And then the moment passes, and you might forget again. But that’s okay, because life is an abundance of such moments. They will come back <3
People are fretting about the "sexuality" of people riding bikes naked at pride and as someone who was once at the Farmer's Market with family without realizing it was World Naked Bike Ride day I have to say: who the fuck sees that and gets horny instead of thinking about how awful it'd be if they crashed. I know I'm ace but if you look at a dicks out bicycle rider and think sex thoughts instead of FRETTING for that dick, being CONCERNED about the lack of safety precautions for that dick, thinking with horror about the pavement beneath, I don't know what to say
create! create! even if it’s been a while. even if you don’t know what to write or draw or sing. connect with what once brought you joy and you will remember how. create in a new way, knit or dance or crochet. try spoken word or painting. poetry or pottery. the freedom in creating… it’s liberating
"why do you know that" i am curious about the world around me
this is evil
this is the site btw
i was with my mother’s family and they were talking to me about my religious studies major. my great aunt asked me what the definition of hell was, and i responded “well i suppose it depends on who you ask.” and nearly all the protestants in the group decided that hell was “the absence of god” which i suppose is a fair answer, albeit not a universal one. my cousin’s wife was playing with her 3-year-old daughter and she says “well mommy says that hell is a mcdonald’s playplace” asdfghjhgfd
this 3-year-old girl is so fucking hilarious. her mothers have signed her up for a toddler yoga class, and so she has adopted a very unique language. this child also has an imaginary friend named “mom” which is, in her mind, the boss of her two mothers. for example, my cousin’s wife explained to me how her daughter got mad at them one time. the little girl situated herself in the corner of her crib, pretended to type on a cell phone and said “im writing an email to mom right now and telling her how bad you two are. namaste.”
the family’s Big Theory about “Mom” is that both my cousin and her wife are referred to as “Mommy” and “Mama.” The nickname “Mom” is not used in the house because it would just be confusing. However, when interacting with the world, people tell their daughter that they will “tell her mom” if she is doing something wrong. so this child automatically assumes there is this greater “Mom” figure that is responsible for distributing universal justice.
To be fair to the toddler, that’s pretty much how religions get started.
Our Mom, who art gonna hear about this,
just needed to save these bc it's making me laugh
Cis guy trying to fit in with all his trans friends: I’m like if a guy was a guy
sometimes I randomly think about the time a girl posted in this girls only Facebook group I’m in telling everyone how she broke up with her boyfriend and he lied saying that he lost the spare key she gave him, only to then break into her apartment when she wasn’t home and steal the cat they’d adopted while they were together, but then he denied having done this and she didn’t really have proof that he took the cat since he wouldn’t let her come into his place and look for it. And then another girl saw this post and knew her ex-boyfriend, and she was like “girl. I used to hook up with your mans back in xxxx and I still have his number. If you want, I’ll hit him up and get him to invite me back to his place and see if your cat’s there.” And the OP was like “bet.”
So this woman hit up homie dog, asked him out for drinks, went home with him, slept with him, and then woke up in the middle of the night and TOOK THE CAT. Like she had only said that she would confirm if the cat was there but then she took it upon herself to steal this woman’s cat back. Like she full on Trojan horsed this man and then hit up homegirl like “I got the goods. Where you wanna meet.” And then the two of them posted a photo of them together with the cat to the group.
And I just think women supporting women is so beautiful.
*sees your boner*
me (an empath): are you horny rn?
how to be more happy
eat fruit & notice the colors of sky & dance to your favorite songs in your bedroom & sit on the floor & open your windows a little more wider & lay on cool grass & visit the local bookstore & reach out for help when you need it & make art & write bad poetry & watch good films & throw your phone in the river
i feel like no one really wants to hear that sleep/exercise/nutrition/hydration are major factors in treating mental health issues bc we’ve all talked to that person who thinks your depression would be cured by one good session of goat yoga or whatever but unfortunately they do help and i’m chronically annoyed about it

also even just missing one meal can tank your mental health, so chronically undereating can really significantly impact your mental health (and physical health to a huge degree!)
