#Repost @hightimesmagazine ・・・ #ICYMI Link in our Stories. ⤴️ This is a pretty crazy story of how a sheriff's deputy (Mark Antrim) and two accomplices managed to rob an L.A. warehouse of 600 pounds of weed and $100,000 in cash. "allegedly.." In broad daylight. - Basically they showed up to this warehouse, armed and dressed as sheriffs. 🔫 They told warehouse employees and security guards they were executing a search warrant. They detained the workers and 2 security guards in the back of a Ford Explorer. Then for 2 HOURS took their sweet time loading bundles of cash and hundreds of pounds of weed into a large rental truck. 🚛 - 🚔 That's when regular police NOT connected to the robbery showed up; after being called by one of the detained employees. - 👮♀️💬👮♂️ Mark's accomplices dipped out while the LAPD talked to him for 15 a whole minutes. He managed to convince the LAPD officers that the "raid" was real. - The LAPD bought his story & left on their merry way. 🚓 - Mark called his accomplices BACK (why not?) and they continued to rob the place blind. - Not until days later did authorities find out they robbed the place, sparked only by a phone call from an attorney representing the warehouse.The men are currently behind bars awaiting trial. - We're not sure what's crazier..
