One thing that makes me sad is when I go through the Critical Role tag and new/soon-to-be Critters ask when they should start watching and a lot of people reply that they should just ignore Campaign 1 and start with Campaign 2. I totally understand the logic behind the post, CR campaign 1 is a massive undertaking clocking in at around 115 two to four hour episodes, and a lot of people don’t have time for that and/or want to get caught up to the new weekly excitement asap. But, the story of Vox Machina is a narrative fantasy masterpiece at least on par if not surpassing the likes of LotR or ASOI&F. Matt, and the party as well obviously, took a brand new medium and way to tell a story and transcended anything, and while I understand it’s a lot to watch I think it would benefit everybody from content creators to passive consumers to watch/listen to CR Campaign 1.
