Hello, all. Here's a brief introduction ♡

currently a full-time student working on a b.a. in english (language and literature concentration with a sociology minor) at gvsu in hopes of joining the world of literature in some way. i am of junior standing. my first semester at this particular university began august 31, 2021. wish me luck!

i am entirely new to the studyblr community, so please be nice lmao. i do plan on posting some original content, though will likely reblog things on queue more often. i'm here to clean my slate and have a separate place where i can just focus on self-improvement and motivation by surrounding myself in that aesthetic, atmosphere, and with like-minded people. things you're likely to see here include but are not limited to: cottagecore, goblincore, dark, light, chaotic, and romantic academia, mythology, and art/architecture because i love art history. and probably other things. idk, man.

as one can imagine, i love reading. tell me about the books you're reading, want to read, or ones you've loved in the past! i love getting and giving book recommendations. my favorite genres are fantasy, classic lit, mythological retellings, memoirs, poetry, and queer romance. the only genre i tend to stay away from is sci-fi, but i could probably be convinced to give it a try. also, i'm pro-audiobook.

other than being on tumblr for entirely too long, i usually spend my time playing video games, attempting to be artistic and crafty, trying to convince myself that i like to cook, wishing i lived closer to more trees, being nostalgic, and petting my cat. i have a hamster too, but he always wants to fist fight :c
