CBT resource:Â Moodgym. extensive CBT program, evidence iâve looked at suggests it has high success rates. focused on anxiety and low mood
CBT resource: E-couch. another CBT program. more limited but more concise help and information to understand conditions. provides info and help regarding social anxiety disorder, divorce & seperation, depression, and bereavement & loss.
DBT resource (not free!): The book âThe Dialectical Behavioural Therapy Skills Workbookâ by McKay and Wood. I think itâs pretty good. DBT is a treatment for impulsiveness & emotional instability, mostly used for BPD.
DBT resource (free!): dbtselfhelp.com To be honest, Iâm not a fan, but itâs free and sometimes you need something.
Anxiety resource: this website. Itâs helped me a lot, especially the section on intrusive thoughts.
Bipolar & mood spectrum disorders resource: this website. Helpful, non-judgemental info. make sure to visit the table of contents.
Anti-depressant & recreational drugs interactions resource: this forum post. Because a lot of the time itâs not exactly something safe to ask your doctorÂ
Anti-depressants: some sources suggest st johnâs wort and 5-HTP are promising. please do your research and be super duper responsible if you down this route.
Eating disorder resource: this website. I havenât visited it in years so canât vouch for it anymore, but I honestly donât think Iâd have recovered from my eating disorder without it
Forum: crazy-boards. Very pro-medical stuff, but a lot of helpful resources stickied on the forums if you want to have a browse
Emotional pain:Â âusing grounding to detatch from emotional painâ
Long list of distractions: this post
