Most of the time people don’t want help. They just want to be heard, and to know that someone cares.

Some College Advice
If you go to a small school, you’ll have a small amount of professors to choose from, which means for whatever class you need, if you get a bad professor and they’re the only one that teaches that class, you’re stuck with them.
On the other hand, if you go to a big university, you might get lost in the crowd, and if you’re naturally timid, it may be difficult for you to get noticed in bigger lectures, no matter how smart you are on paper, the professor won’t know it’s you unless you keep talking.
Night classes are a lot more laid back than morning and early afternoon classes.
Financial aid is complicated in every university, so always be on top of things concerning financial aid, even in the middle of the semester.
Tutors help. People in your classes help. Your professors [should and usually do] help.
As you get higher in your class numbers, classes get smaller, which means more one-on-one between professors and students.
Get to know the staff and faculty in your major/department. They can help you even if they don’t teach you.
Utilize your advisor. They actually know a lot and can really guide you. But you also need to be asking the right questions, you’re not the only student your advisor has.
If you don’t have an advisor, find a professor in your department who specializes in something you’re interested in, they will know a lot about the field and can give you advice on how to get to where you want to be.
If you go to a big university and can’t find your way around, ask anyone, someone will help you. We all know what it was like to be lost. And maps can be confusing.
FIND AN INTERNSHIP. Sure it may be unpaid, sure it takes time away from your school work and actually making money, but trust me, it is SO worth it. You’ll get experience, expand your network, and have more references for your resume.
Join a club, organization, intramural sport, whatever. There is most likely a club for everything, especially if you got o a big university, so there will be something that you’ll enjoy. Put it on your resume.
In fact, put as much as you can on your resume. Document volunteer events (dates, companies, names of people who organized the events).
Lastly, college will end, and you and your friends will probably go your separate ways, but don’t ever stop the contact. You guys experienced all-nighters, finals, and 15-page papers together. They may very well be your lifelong friends even from miles away.

All you have to do is say, “What did you mean when you said this?” In reference to the screenshot you accidentally sent. That way it looks like you sent it on purpose.
