Heyyyy look at this new blog post I wrote about my November Birchbox samples! It’s great because I don’t really know anything serious about beauty products, so this is a real-person review without any bullshit :D

I would rather die attempting to help others than live, ashamed of my country for refusing to do so.
I wrote a blog post about the amazingness of estate sales, and why you should definitely check one out if you haven’t before (especially if you like thrifting/yard sales/etc).
This weekend I was in Orange County for Halloween, and of course I had to go to Disneyland and say hello to some of my favorite critters! Sadly, Disneyland is repurposing the petting zoo area for the new Star Wars land, so I was happy to hear that all of the animals are being adopted by former cast members who will let them live a nice happy retired life.
Neeeewwww blog post about transforming my friend’s hair into a nest for her tree Halloween costume!
Yooo check out my new blog post all about my first Birchbox :]
I haven't posted in so long oops. I've been rather busy with school and stuff, lately. The past couple of weeks haven't been very eventful, which reminds me I need to stop and take the time to notice more things. This past Saturday I met a kind of dog (above) I'd never seen in real life before, so that was exciting. That's really all I've got for now...
Hiya! Check out my latest OOTD post on my main blog!
Today I booked a trip to the UK and Europe for the end of December and beginning of January! I’ll be spending a couple days in London, then NYE in Paris, then heading onto Berlin before spending a week in Spain to visit a friend who’s there teaching English. I’m so excited!!
weeeelll I’ve started posting on my wordpress blog again (I have a problem, I know...lol). I’ll still be posting my one sentence journal entries here, though! here’s the link if you’d like to check it out :]
Last last weekend (September 26) I went to dinner with Nick and my parents, and then we went to see a dance show at the community college. Here's what I wore.
I've got on a pair of black skinnies from Urban Outfitters, Seychelles ankle boots that I found in a random little boutique in LA, and a vintage floral top from this Etsy shop.
No matter how hard I try, I will never be a blue jeans kind of gal. I always always always end up wearing black jeans no matter the circumstance, but they're flattering and go with pretty much anything so whatever.
This was actually my first time wearing this top even though I got it months ago. It never seemed like the right thing to wear during the summer, but now that it's fall I think I'll be wearing it more. Same with the boots- this night was their maiden voyage, but I can't wait to wear them more often. I’ll admit that they did give me some minor blisters, but I also wore them without socks and did a fair bit of walking. I think once they’re more broken in, it shouldn’t be a problem.
So, maybe this is going to settle into a weekly thing.
This weekend, Nick and I went to a wedding. Two of his friends from college got married at a farm, and it was grand! The ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was a blast. One of the best parts was that they had pecan pie as a dessert–my favorite! 10/10 weekend, would recommend.
Yikes, it's been a bit too long since I last checked in.... Over the past (almost) 2 weeks, I've been to two Giants games, spent most of my time reading and doing schoolwork, and Nick came to visit for the weekend. Tomorrow, one of my good friends is moving to Spain for the next 8 months. It was a bit last minute, but now I finally get to plan some traveling. Of course I'll be going to visit him, I'd be a fool not to take advantage of this!
(15 September 2015) Yesterday and today showed the first signs of fall...not quite as hot and a bit blustery. Best of all, there are crunchy leaves to step on!
Oops it’s been a week since I last posted…
(8 and 9 September 2015) Mostly ordinary days. I think I spent most of the time doing homework, but on Wednesday I got back to dance class after a few years of “hiatus.”
(10-14 September 2015) Vegas for the weekend, as you can tell from the Vegas hotel bathroom mirror selfie above. It was fun, and I was so happy to spend time with Nick after being apart for two weeks. There was a teary-eyed goodbye at airport security…even though we’re seeing each other again soon, leaving never gets any easier.
Did a little shopping today and started putting my clothes in my closet...slowly settling in.
(4 September 2015) I sat on the couch all day doing homework and watching Say Yes To The Dress. Then I went over to my aunts' house and watched a movie with them. (5 September 2015) Today I got a hair cut that I liked at first, but then later I realized I didn't like it at all... (6 September 2015) I got my hair cut again today and I like it much better. It's still not ideal, but I don't feel ill when I think about it anymore. I also spent some time with a friend today and we watched American Ultra. It was...interesting
