I’m rereading the Dragonlance Chronicles right now and had to draw sad elf power couple Tanis Half-Elven and Laurana.

I had never watched an episode of Critical Role until a couple weeks ago, when I started from the beginning. Well I’m obsessed now and the last thing the internet needed was more Vox Machina fan art but you’re getting it anyway.

Throwback to that time I drew our Star Trek Adventures crew at the “infamous” Christmas party our DM mentioned once. The senior staff of the USS Yorktown knew how to have a good time. 🖖✨

Since I’m a bit new to this tumblrverse, I thought I’d spend some time introducing what I’m working on...first up is my current creator-owned comic series, STARSIGNS!

Telling the story of Rana Fawaaz, aka “Taurus”, and the other “Star Signs” who find themselves possessed of incredible powers after the constellations of the zodiac disappear from the sky, STARSIGNS is written by Saladin Ahmed, drawn by yours truly, colored by Kelly Fitzpatrick, lettered by Shawn Lee and edited by Heather Antos. 

The first 8 chapters are free to read online through Saladin’s Copper Bottle site (which I highly recommend subscribing to, it’s free and you get access to a bunch of other great comics as well!):

Taking a much needed day off today and tonight our D&D game resumes! I’m a baby DM, guiding some friends through their first campaign, and I just finished putting together a little homebrew adventure which they will probably end up NOT choosing but here’s some art I did for it anyway. 😂

The half-orc bard is the story hook, the goblin thief is a shady NPC, and the bronze dragon wyrmling is [spoilers].

The orc eating a skull molded entirely out of butter is from an adventure the party already completed, the quest of Butterskull Ranch. My players requested I draw “Butters” the hapless orc and I obliged. 🧈

Going straight to inks on a project right now and I am constantly having to remind myself that it’s going to FEEL slower because my usual pace is pencilling OR inking 2 pages a day, and pencilling and inking one page a day is still on pace, but…

Watching the new season of The Crown close on the heels of House of the Dragon and it’s kind of the same show but since it’s the early 90s all the clothes are hideous and there are no dragons and there is slightly, SLIGHTLY less incest.

I guess I’m on Tumblr now! For those who don’t know me, hi, I’m Megan! I’m an elder millennial who draws comics, plays D&D, knits, and spends most of her time chasing her two Boston Terriers around. I’ll mostly use this space to share my art, with the occasional tired rant, cute dog photo, or cocktail recipe. 

Currently I’m working on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds for IDW Publishing, as well as indie comic series Starsigns, with Saladin Ahmed (writer), Kelly Fitzpatrick (colorist), Shawn Lee (letters), and Heather Antos (editor).
