Your safety? Cryptic messages in papers combined with new species is what everyone here should be worried about.
I’ll give you a list of my reckless behavior to show I haven’t been concerned with my safety since I was a kid. Would you care to elaborate?
arron-harwood:
“Ummm…well some witches helped the Hunt pack create these hybrid things.” Arron informed, almost upbeat like. “I’m a little perplexed by it myself but then again, I don’t anyone can fully understand what goes on in this town…”
“Hold on, back up and pause for a minute. Are you talking about Brandon Hunt? The same obscure Hunt who’s been lurking in the shadows?” Wil didn’t particularly like how chipper this boy was. “And he got witches to create hybrids, great. What kind?”
I come back to town and it looks like all hell is about to break loose. Again. Is there anything else I should be worrying about?

I’m not a spy. I’m a runaway. I’m trying to save you. I know my brother, Kali. He should scare the living crap out of you. You can’t beat him. I’ve skipped ahead, seen how this story ends.
That depends. Are you saying no?
You can stick it where the sun don’t shine, pal. There’s your answer.
“Sounds friendly.” Hal said, with a sarcastic tone to his voice.
“Then, I’m glad I didn’t meet him. He’s the one who set up the whole gala incident?”
“Oh, yeah, a real peach he was.” No, Gabe was more like a severely brown peach that was run over by a semi-truck too many times.
“Yeah. He had every hunter believing it was for the best cause, including me. And where the hell did that get us? Nearly half the caravan gone.”
You're still not answering the question.
Are you going to believe me when I say no?
“You’ll have to excuse me, I haven’t been here long and I never got the chance to talk to the man.”
“I just assumed he would be missed. My apologies then. Can I ask why you hated him so much?”
Then I’ll just tell you now that you weren’t missing out. He was a little rough to talk to.
He was responsible for the deaths of many innocent people who didn’t deserve it. My other reason pertains to my private life that I’d like to keep secret.
Yes. Which is why I'm asking.
No matter what answer I give you, you’re still going to accuse me. So, why waste my time?
“I’ve heard your name pop up around here. Don’t worry, only Alec said bad things about you.”
“My condolences for the recent passing of Gabriel.”
Damn it, that little bastard can’t leave me alone. Of course he would throw around my name.
You’re sorry? Listen, you really don’t have to lie to me. Gabe isn’t one to be missed by many.
“No not a problem at all. Just curious is all.”
“Wait a minute, you’re Wilburn right? You’re with the hunters?”
Yes, that would be me. Do you mind telling me how the hell you know who I am?
You didn't answer my question. Did you, or did you not kill him?
And there it is, the tone of accusation. Do you honestly believe I had something to do with my own leader’s death?
What about Gabriel's murder? How do you feel about that?
Look, let me explain something to you. Before I came to Birchwood, I looked up to the guy. He was a true leader with values I once believed in. But the gala attacks and my suspension kind of pushed me overboard. I’m not saying I’m happy he’s dead, but I’m not saying he didn’t deserve it either.
