Super helpful on my current graphics homework
I am not sure how effective this is but it makes me think of millenials, EDM, subliminal messaging, raging, and getting out of town, being a rebel. Effective? I am going to vegas for spring break...
I am designing a lot of websites as of late, and with the prolific amount of scrolling pages I see I was wondering if it really is the new trend, and how long it will be popular. This is a quick read with some statistics on how and why people are scrolling
week 15 - badly design piece of information
This is a very busy info-graphic. I really do not like it. It took me a lot of searching to figure out what the point of it was, and there is a lot of extraneous detail that makes it hard to follow. It's only saving grace is the key on the right side that tells you about said trillion dollar war. One of my "friends" on the Facebook posted the lovely piece.
week 14 - postmodern design
postmodern design - this chair does not need to have a spike ball of legs. I see postmodernism as being a movement of taking the simplified and making it exciting and different. This details of this chair are not so much ornate as they are unique. I think postmodernism takes the modernist movement and adds fun.
I am going to use this as a jumping off point for redesigning my website over winter break.

week 13 - website review
I designed this website for Digital Media 1 and sadly have not been maintaining it. I plan to revamp the whole thing over winter break. I think that it passes the trunk test in that it is pretty obvious there there is a homepage (the first image) and 5 subpages (one shown in the second image). The navigation could be improved since the buttons to navigate to other pages only are labeled when they are hovered over. When you are on a sub-page the main page is accessible by the large picture in the top left corner, which is also not particularly obvious. The code is very organized and the HTML tags are used properly, but I would like to use CSS3 and HTML5 when I re-do it, so I can use more robust coding techniques.
i love how crisp this looks
