They now can be placed on the ground/floor or any surface.

Any overlapping with objects (e.g. an appliance is above a counter but isn’t sitting in its slot) or changing the height with 9/0 keys renders them unusable. Also won’t work on shelves.

The espresso machines are included, although they are not usable without the bar anyway.

To enable free placement for CC appliances you need to:

have my package, because it has tuning overrides

in Object Catalog untick “RequiresSlot”

change SlottingBehavior from 0 to 1

after not being happy with any defaults i decided ill jus make my own again shfsd. idk what to say about them other than theyre quite simple but also,, not. i wanted some eyes that look rlly nice in cas pics but dont lose their gameplay friendliness through over the top shadows so ! i hope u like them at least a bit :-)

facepaint contacts come in two versions, a darker alpha style sclera or the sclera used in the defaults. see comparison here (you can have both in game)

skin detail heterochromia options too (mesh is from @escapingpotplant <3)

Senbamachiya Market | Retail

At the heart of Senbamachi sits a quaint quartet of machiya—traditional Japanese townhouses—that continue to serve their long-standing function of housing small retail shops in the front and family homes in the back and upstairs. Each of the machiya is home to a different local business, catering primarily to tourists. Along the main street you will find a massage studio, ikebana flower shop, and souvenir shop. And around back, tucked behind the alley, is an adventure gear outfitter with snowboards and skis to get you Mt. Komorebi-ready. 

The four machiyas are all 1-2 bedrooms, and each has at least one washitsu (aka tatami room) with—fingers crossed—auspiciously arranged tatami…? To make the lot slightly easier to load, the second floor is unfurnished for all but the ikebana shop. I have had soooo much fun researching, exploring, learning about, and building machiya and Japanese architecture in general. I did my best but of course apologize if I got anything wrong! 

Lot details:

Lot Type: Retail (with items already tagged for sale and everything!); it can also function as a Spa, but you can also simply hire a massage therapist with it set as a Retail lot. You can also change it to Residential if you want your sims to live here without bothering with the shops.

Location: 5-3-1 Shinrinyoku, Mt. Komorebi (sorry, Akiyamas!) 

I’ve used from all packs freely here—naturally, it’s very heavy on Snowy Escape but you’ll need Spa Day for the massage studio
