After recent rumors of Studio Ghibli closing their animation department and the low box office numbers for When Marnie Was There, it was time to make an appreciation post for a company that has created true movie magic again and again. So, thank you, Studio Ghibli. Hopefully it isn’t good-bye just yet.

PayPal User Policy Updates!!

So in the BJD we pretty much exclusively use paypal, right? It’s safe and secure and as of November 18, 2014 it just got a WHOLE lot safer for us to buy from new companies without worrying about production times outlasting the dispute filing window!

tl;dr Paypal is updating their policy, instead of only 45 days to open a claim/dispute on a transaction, you now have 180.

There are a couple more updates you can read about here, but I thought this particular update was SUPER GREAT!!

Interior design inspiration at a local kindergarten!

Wow I just learned a new word (well a useful one, I also looked up chapstick and ikat this morning) and this is very exciting for me! Turns out I was DisneyBounding this spring without even knowing it’s a thing!

What a feeling! My legs have not seen the sun nor felt a breeze on their skin for maybe a decade. I'm a pantyhose wearing kinda girl, but it was so nice and warm yesterday. :3

Yesterday the air was pretty awful. I woke up in the middle of the night, looked out the window and saw shreds of clouds sailing in the sky, wind blowing in the trees below and lights glistening in the most distant buildings. Amazing.
