Mekameka Karaoke Collection
Around one year ago from today, I was a fansubber. (I mean I have been and still am one, but y’know, a real fansubber.) I was part of MekamekaSubs, and took care of karaoke, some typesetting, occasional timing, and a little QC.
So, I’ve decided to upload BD hardsubbed versions of the insert songs that I did karaoke for! b/c imo they look awesome. Think of it as a karaoke portfolio of sorts. My personal favorite is Yuukei Yesterday, which I based off the PV!

Regarding the asks about Yen Press' recent licensing for official English versions of the Kagerou Daze light novels and manga, and how this will affect our groupー Currently we do plan to continue translating them. (The scanlation of the main manga is done by RoseliaScans, but since I (Renna) am the translator for that series, I can safely say that there aren’t any plans to drop it right now.)
Although a licensing has been announced, only the first volumes of the novel and manga have been stated to release early 2015, which is still a ways off, so the official English releases won’t be catching up that quickly.
There hasn’t been any news about the anthologies being published as well, so we definitely still plan on translating those.
We translate out of love for the series, and hopes of sharing it with the English-speaking fandom, but ultimately, we strongly encourage supporting the creators of this series by purchasing the original Japanese versions of the novels/manga/etc or any offical English releases that may be published!

A different style of title card?! What could it mean?!
Apologies for the delay this week, everyone, and a massive thank-you for those who waited. We will have a higher percentage of our members available this weekend to help, so prospects for a timely release are fairly good.
Also, since the endcard problem has come to our attention, we've decided to upload the endcards as part of the post. We'll fix the problem starting next week but if you could let us know via reply or in the tags of your reblogs if you'd like for them to be included in the post from now on, we'd very much appreciate your opinion!
That being said, we hope you enjoy this week's episode!

Did you read the comments on your page in myanimelist and how are they bashing your subs ? ;A; How do feel about them? And that notredrevie review on your first episode, do you take it as criticism or attack? I'm sad (s)he didn't give you a second chance because you keep getting better and you deserve more consideration.
To be honest, we've decided to ignore that. We’re fine with proper criticism but.. the first episode isn’t a good reflection of our subs as a whole since there was a lot of miscommunication surrounding our original release.
What’s more important, is that the quality of subs for the subsequent episodes continues to increase. Of course, in the fansubbing community, you really only get one chance before people move on.. which is sad, but the truth.
What matters to us the most is that we provide a contextually correct translation of the anime, devoid of the translational ambiguities easily made by translators not familiar with the series.
