I like to imagine that Lace monologues a good bit to Hollow, who happily listens to her. Hornet doesn’t talk too much, so even though they love her dearly, they feel a twinge of anxiety in her silence.

Lace, however, voices all her opinions and happily will give them all to Hollow and it gives them a good bit of reassurance that they’re not a disappointment to her. Lace is just happy that she can yap til her heart’s content and someone is happy to listen to her and gives their full attention to her ramblings.
