Two of my Sonic OCs done over on the Mobius Alpha server.
Dionysia Fòtin, a shrike, has the ability to bind herself and a target to a deal, using her Chaos ability to ensure both complete their end of the bargain -- or suffer the consequences. She has a secondary ability which lets her rip out a Mobian's core and preserve it.
She runs a Theatre that supports local actors and offers opportunities for the residents of Valoures (the New Orleans of Mobius) and uses the profits to help her community. Under the theatre is The Devils Hand, an illicit casino she invites tourists - high rewards with even higher risks.
Janelli Izel is a chihuahua - and was actually a furry non-fandom OC before i sonicified her. She hails from an ancient civilization, reincarnating every hundreds of years to serve her dark god. She's also like, 2'9''.
not to be maya on side but please do not call someone or something “mayan” when talking about our people, culture, etc. “mayan” refers to our language family (a language FAMILY, in which there are plenty of unique languages). we are the maya, not the mayans. i am maya, not mayan. it is the indigenous maya community, not the indigenous mayan community.

It feels like kind of a stock answer but my style is nudged in all sorts of directions by all sorts of people. I've always liked drawing Sonic and company so of course that tends to bleed into everything I draw. Always loved cartoons as a whole, so I try to use that sort of exaggeration for expressions/reactions. You'll probably notice I color mouths in wrong most of the time partly to keep color palettes low, mainly as a nod to Ed Edd n' Eddy.
I think a lot of artists adapt little bits and pieces they like in other's art. I started adding depth to eye sockets on anthro characters because I liked the look in someone else's work. I happened to notice when watching a Tales of Mere Existence video how Levni Yilmaz drew calves (like the part of a person's leg) from the side and that made it clearer to me how that looks in 3D space. I saw the coil technique in a tutorial maybe a decade ago but it only sank in how to properly use it in the past year or two.
...I don't really have anything to wrap this up with but hopefully that satisfies.

For those of you who've been watching my socials for a while, you've probably noticed an uptick in me having to ask for help.
Last August, I moved out of my overcrowded home in Texas and up to Michigan after receiving an offer from a friend. It hasn't worked out despite best efforts, and making matters worse is that it steadily became apparent that the house we rented is a shitshow.
We all got fucked over by this, and my roommates can no longer afford to accommodate me nor keep sinking money into this place that's falling apart at the seams.
The good news is, @cowgirlroxy and @kittiedwoman have offered to give me a place to stay, with them. The bad news is, we haven't actually secured an apartment yet. The worse news is that we only have until June to do so.
Because we're cutting this close, we've opened up a GoFundMe page in the hopes of reaching our goal before the deadline!

As Roxy stated above, we've been able to secure a place to live and our AmTrak tickets, but we still need money to get our stuff over.
This is especially dire for me as my roommates are also clearing out of this place - I need to have my stuff ready to ship and to be able to cover the fees or else I'll just lose everything.
