About Me

My name’s Mel. That’s kinda important to say, I guess. I think I use she/he. I don’t know a lot about who I am as a person, so I list it here. To remind myself, I guess.

I’m a member of a system, but I’m not gonna say which one. If you know, please don’t say anything about it. I’m also a subsystem myself, so… yeah.

We collectively struggle with depression, anxiety, and hypersexuality.

I’m kinda goth/emo, I guess. I’m not sure what the difference is…? But like, only in aesthetic. I wanna be cute and act cute, and I think dark/black stuff is cute.

Collectively, I am a caregiver-leaning flip. Technically. Melody is a little, and the rest (I think) are caregivers.

I’m quite stubborn, but uh, easily flustered too.

I want to be seen and heard. I want to be known. I want to exist.

I’m also a recovering addict. I’m not gonna say what from, not in my pinned post, at least.

no age regression is actually:

🌸 a coping mechanism for people with trauma, poor mental health, chronic illness, or those who didn’t get to feel safe and happy when they were growing up

🌼 a way to relax and let go of stressors in everyday life

🌸 a way to feel safe and happy through simple activities

age regression is not a k!nk and it is not weird, it is a healthy, safe way to cope & should not feel shameful or be sexualised.

Padded regression is valid!

Wearing diapers/pull-ups is something many sfw littles do for two main reasons: 1) need and 2) comfort.

Some regressors have certain medical conditions that make these items a need. Regression can also affect some people’s bladder control so dips/pull-ups would be also be a need for them.

Dips and pull-ups help many littles regress and stay regressed. The release of responsibility, the sensory experience (using or not using), the nostalgia, the intimacy of a cg changing you, the feeling of safety, the comfort, the cute patterns, everything. It all just makes us feel so tiny and safe and comforted. Some may even wear them when they aren’t feeling smol just because of how comfy and safe they make you feel!

It is nothing to be ashamed of. 💕

As there's a blocklist going around that targets anyone who supports padded agere and accuses them of being abdl/nsfw, here's a clarification:

I am NOT pro -abdl/ddlg

My blog is not and never will be sexual

And padded agere IS NOT the same as abdl or sexual in any way.

Diapers aren't inherently sexual and neither is someone who isn't (bodily) a baby needing them.

I think that 'blocklist' blog is someone who's young and put themselves on a pedestal as the Ultimate Knowledge Holder on agere. That, or they're a troll.

Padded regressors, you are just as pure and innocent as regressors who don't use diaps. You'll always be welcome on my blog.

While we're at it, I also completely accept any shape and size and ability of regressors: regressors who wear diaps, who need help going potty or taking showers, who can't walk, who need mobility aids, who have speech impairments or difficulties talking, who need feeding tubes, urostromy pouches, external heart monitors, or any other kind of external disability aid- who need service dogs, or emotional support stuffies, who need braces or compression clothing, who stim loudly and unapologetically. Any and all regressors.

Don't let this blocklist blog slow you down. They don't have any valid 'proof' of you being gross, and anybody who follows their blocklist aren't people you want following you anyway.

Fascinating thing I noticed about callout blogs (particularly in this community). There's a lot of pictures of blogs, and... no explanations? for why they're there? And sometimes screenshots of entire posts, and then accusations of things the screenshotted poster does, that if you actually read the screenshots isn't even relevant. (And just, apparently being anti-callout culture makes you guilty of a lot of unrelated things??? which makes no sense.) I've also seen links to people's presences on other websites for "proof" supporting the accusations, but if you actually go to them, there's nothing to support what they're being accused of.

I don't know, it's just not a very good look when there's very little explaining, very little real proof, and misleading implications (which, even if we give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that was unintentional, isn't a good look no matter what).

regression, at its core, is a trauma response. many of us have been the subject of abuse, negligence, and several other unspeakable acts that no child should ever go through and use regression as a coping mechanism to process, come to terms with and hopefully heal from their personal trauma. be mindful of this and refrain from entering their safe space with the intent of policing or harassing them as well as sharing possibly triggering details of your own experiences. of course you can relate to their struggles and express your sympathies, but please vent about your trauma on your blog rather than the tags or comments of their posts or their inbox.

i saws your post about being transfem and nursing! well there is a chance that trans women can nurse! depends on how the breast tissue forms i believe... some clinics say it is. so hurray justice for all the transfems who would love to nurse their little ones.

I did see some about that when I was (cursorily) looking into it. Apparently it involves a pretty specific diet and even then it doesn’t result in very much? But there’s also supplemental nursing systems (SNS), which seems like the much more likely route for us. Thanks for the info though!

Going Forward, Going Back - Chapter 12: First Night

Siffrin gets changed for bed. Isabeau shares some concerns.

Mira leads you by the hand into her room, where she locks the door. "Can you undress while I get everything out?" she asks.

You nod, and start pulling at your pins. Uselessly. (Blind it...)

Mira pulls the shopping bags from under the bed and takes a few things from them. You recognize the wipes, powder, and. um. diapers. (Still a little weird. Of course it is.) But, Mira says it'll help, and you do like it... You have complicated feelings about it.

She looks over at you, and sees you completely dressed. "Do you need help after all?" You answer with a tiny nod. With a smile, she comes over and pulls off your pins, then unhooks your belt. (Thankfully, you're able to get the rest off yourself.)

Mira leads you over to the bed and has you lay down, like last time. As she slides the diaper under you and pulls it over your front, you immediately feel yourself slip a little more. (Stars... It feels so soft. Comfortable. For once, you actually feel safe.) You hold the front in place for Mira as she does the side tapes.

"How does it feel?" Mira asks, taking your hands to pull you up.

Some kind of. Sound. Comes out of your mouth. A happy sound?

Whatever it is makes Mira giggle at you. "Aw, do you like it?"

"Ah-huh!" you answer. (Why are you just making sounds. You can still think, why don't you talk?)

"Great!" You like holding her hands. "Your nightgown is in your room, I think. Let's get you changed into it." She leads you by the hand (warm, love it) into the room you and Isabeau share. "Can you find it for me?"

You nod excitedly, pulling her over to the backpacks beside your bed. (Let's see, you think your clothes were in... the big one?) "Da!" you say, pointing at the bigger backpack.

"In there?" Mira confirms. Letting go of your hand (sad...), she opens the backpack and reaches inside. You can't help but smile when she pulls out your nightgown. (You were right!) Turning to you with it in her hands, she says, "Arms up, gotta get that shirt off."

You do as she asks, raising your arms into the air. She grabs the bottom of your shirt, lifting it up and over and off your head. Then she lifts your nightgown over your head and pulls it down. Your arms pop out and the nightgown falls all the way down to your ankles. Fwoosh! You can't help but giggle!

Mira giggles with you. "Is it comfy?"

You nod. Super comfy!

She smiles. (You're doing good! Made her happy!) With an awkward laugh, she says, "I didn't really think this through... We'll probably stay up for a little while longer. Unless you wanna go to bed already?"

"Nuh uh," you tell her, before promptly betraying yourself with a big yawn. She gives you a suspicious look, teasingly of course, that makes your face hot. "Mm... yeh..." (Stars, when did you start feeling so tired? You haven't stayed up later than usual at all.)

"Sounds good. Did you bring Mr. Grizz?" When you shake your head, she continues, "Then I'll go get him while you get into bed."

You nod, and start doing just that. You feel a little clumsy, but you get yourself under the covers without too much trouble. By the time you're done, Mira's already beside your bed again, handing you Mr. Grizz. So soft, so snuggly! You hug him super duper tight.

Mira giggles (you love that sound). With the utmost care, she slides your eyepatch off your head and sets it on the table beside you. "Sweet dreams, Siffrin!" She turns off the lamp, and as she gently pulls the door closed behind her, darkness envelops the room. Warm, comforting darkness.

You feel the smooth sheets beneath you, the warm blanket on top of you. Your airy nightgown, keeping you nice and cool, and Mr. Grizz's plush fur, prickly but in a soft way. The air against your usually covered eye, the padding between your legs, hugging your body, keeping you safe.

You are safe.

You are safe.

You are here.

And you are very very quickly falling asleep.

Isabeau walks into the dark room a while later, placing himself on his bed. "Sif, you awake?"

Incoherent mumbling for a reply. Maybe that's a yes?

"To be honest, I was glad when Mira told me you went to bed early," Isabeau tells them. "I know you don't act tired, but... We know you need more sleep than you're getting."

Siffrin shifts under the covers. A shrug?

Isabeau sighs. "I know, I know. I just... What you went through took a lot out of you. Using that much Craft, there's no way you're back to one-hundred percent already." A little softer, he adds, "Euphrasie said you might never be. So just, try to take it easy, ok—"

A loud, rankling snore from Siffrin cuts him off.

For a moment, Isabeau just stares. Then he laughs to himself, lying down in bed. "Asleep after all, huh. Maybe that's better."
