eleven bazillion hours

#wip #admittedly i don't have many hours in the day to draw #am i going to optimize these hours to maximize the amount of attacks considering we're the 17th and i've 4 revenges to do? no.tunnel vision #(points) flowers are watermelon zucchini bryony (toxic) and melon. the theme is plants that have (coiled) tendrils #because that's the part where the tail is in fact a bit coiled. simple as #as it happens right now it's all cucurbitacea. initially i wanted to do sweet peas but they're kind of a pain to draw #i didnt even think of using those until a friend said the tails looked like a watermelon. because of the red and striped green #ill try to find other plants... or try hard and do the peas... idk yet. that's a problem for tomorrow me #tiny white flowers on the bottom right corner are chlorophytum #theme down there is stolons #but mostly i wanted to draw chlorophytum because i like them. i've got one. i got it 7 years ago and it's huge now #i repotted it because it was escaping its pot and guess what... it's doing it again‼️greedy bastard

what if i spend ten bazillion hours on a revenge

#wip #i had. to write down everything i wanted to do. so that i wouldnt forget. especially build a list of the plants to draw #(points) plants here are cistus; eucalyptus; austrian pine (presumably); cogongrass; bird nest banksia; cork oak #they share a theme. the theme is fire #they're all either very resistant to fire or benefit from fire or are an actual wildfire hazard #(((if im not mistaken)))#the austrian pine is (presumably) that because uuh. to be honest i kind of winged it. i don't know how to differentiate pines #besides maybe bark and silhouette of tree. not that i KNOW those but i'm aware those are good hints for identification #so i dont know how to draw them precisely... and with intent... especially on such a small scale. lmao #maybe there's nuance on needle shape? length? implantation? i didnt have time to really dig #so like. its a basic ass pine branch. but thats the species i used as reference. whateverrrr #(actually i looked it up right now and you CAN differentiate pine by their needles and how they're clustered. what the heck #now i have to try and learn... smh)#i need to know more about plants in a general manner
