Lmaooo im back sorry y’all. I got inspo from a c.AI bot and decided to make a Ghoap angst post from a similar plot to it.
Soap found out he was pregnant a few weeks after Ghost was sent on deployment, and of course he was ecstatic about growing a family with his husband.
Ghost came back home a couple of months later, so Soap came to pick him up from the airport, all while having a little surprise for him waiting there. He gave Ghost a little box with a baby onesie and socks, as well as the pregnancy test with the most big and excited smile on his face waiting for Ghost’s reaction.
What he didn’t expect was an angry expression appearing on his husband’s face, neither did he expect the accusations that he had possibly CHEATED on his husband while deployed and how this child couldn’t possibly be his.
Soap would have never expected this kind of reaction, as he protested and swore that this baby is his and that he’s the only man he’s ever been with, which was absolutely true. Though Ghost very clearly didn’t believe him, even got into his face and told him to get out of the house.
Of course Soap was absolutely heartbroken, moving to pack whatever he could grab with tears in his eyes and finally left the house before things got ugly, and now here he was, alone in his car with a few clothes, his unborn baby and himself as he sobbed in the car.
He couldn’t possibly go stay with Gaz or Price, they both have their own lives, and he didn’t want to disturb any of them, especially Price who was already married and had a family.
So he did the reasonable thing, and left back home to go stay with his mother, who instantly took him in with no hesitation. He knew he especially needed her help, especially with his baby on the way, which his mother was happy to help him take care of her newest grandchild.
He hasn’t heard from Ghost in months, and it wasn’t until he finally had the baby, a sweet baby girl with his brown hair and his husbands brown eyes, did he finally get something from his husband. But to his heartbreak, it was papers for a paternity test, which only just broke him even more.
So Soap, now absolutely furious that his own husband would be like this, accusing him of cheating and not even being there to at least SEE their daughter being born. He decided enough was enough, and accepted the paternity test, which a few months later came back with Ghost absolutely being the father.
