Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Watch out for The Nox (Noxious), they are carrying the UCS2 Virus.
Symptoms include:
Coughing
Shaking
Blood Discharge from the Nose, Eyes, Mouth and Ears.
You may become pale or slightly yellow
and you may also have a constant fever
The virus can make you bleed out with in seconds of contact, resulting in immediate death. It may also take up to a couple months to reach full term, either way there is no cure known yet. It has an extremely high mortality rate, so avoid all that have the virus!
In case anyone was wondering what the Nox from the web series I'm working on look like. Here's a one. I've equated them in my mind as zombies that haven't actually died yet.
Filming has begun!
This weekend was a blast. We started filming on the web-series 'What We Once Were'. Saturday was pretty good weather wise. It was raining when we arrived but the rain had stopped by the time we started filming. We did get one period of intense rain but it only lasted for a few minutes, and thankfully we were filming under a tree at the time, then it became a wonderfully sunny, if still cold and damp, day.
We had some funny bloopers and improvised lines thank to Cardi Wong, who plays Matt. Anyone up for some medium rare beans? We also had a great crew blooper. We had blocked out the scene so a bunch of us stood/squatted off to the side where we thought we would be safe however when we actually filmed the scene the actors kept walking and of course the camera followed. I'm sure you can guess that the lot of us made a surprise appearance in the scene and that we all had identical looks of "oh sh!t."
And don't get me started on the neighbors dog. It barked all day but only while we were rolling. It didn't bark between takes but the moment the director said "Action!" it would start barking and would not stop until "cut" was called.
Saturday night Carmen Burke, the on-set photographer and I stayed at Liz Wallace's , who plays Bree, house. It was another early morning wake up for us. We got up at 4:00AM and still managed to leave late for our 6:30AM call time. We had to pick up Stefano Casadei, who plays Tyler, and Archie McWilliam, who plays Zack on the way to set.
The weather was pretty exciting Sunday. When we left for set it was howling wind. At about 10:40AM the skies just opened up and rain poured down on us. That rain soon turned to hail. Needless to say we took an unexpected break. Despite this we were still ahead of schedule by lunch.
During lunch we celebrated our first on-set birthday. Archie turned 20. He had to teach us all how to sign "Happy Birthday" to him before he got to blow out his candle in the freshly made cupcakes. I have to say one of the best things about working on a production that incorporates ASL is learning to sign and being able to continue 'talking' even as we're rolling.
I think the scariest thing that happened this weekend was when Rhona Rees, who plays Hana, fell badly during a struggle and dislocated her shoulder. Even as I write this I can still hear the crack of her shoulder popping out. She had fallen on a pile of twigs so at first I thought a twig had snapped. And eve as she called for cut I thought a stick was jabbing into her side. This was obviously not the case. This was a re-occurring injury for Rhona so was able to pop back into place almost all by herself. We changed our filming schedule to allow for her to recuperate but by the end of the day she was recovered enough to re-do the scene. This time we got it in one take.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place: and in the sky The larks still bravely singing fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead: Short days ago, We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved: and now we lie In Flanders fields!
Take up our quarrel with the foe To you, from failing hands, we throw The torch: be yours to hold it high If ye break faith with us who die, We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields
RIP to all our veterans from all our wars old and current. And due to recent events in particular to Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent and Corporal Nathan Cirillo

There's the link, now go check it out. The trailer looks great and you'll learn something really cool about the series about half way through. Don't worry that something is not a spoiler it's an amazing way that we're making this series for everyone. So please check it out, donate or share the link... or do all three. That works really well too.
Yup I've made myself an Etsy shop. Right now I'm just making friendship bracelets. But maybe once I've run out of fandoms to make bracelets for (like that will ever happen) I'll start to make some the outfits that have been floating around in my head. So yeah go check out my shop.

All About Sarah Niles
Hey everyone. Just want to remind that we are still taking donations for this amazing film. We have changed the trailer too. You can now hear Robbie played by the wonderful Natalie Talson! Yeah we found the music was too overpowering so we took it out and the trailer is much better now. We have $900 so far with fundraising outside of indiegogo so don't let the measly $100 on the campaign page fool you this movie is going full steam ahead. We also recently had an interview with a freelance journalist the other day so stay tuned to see the article she wrote.
so without further ado here's our indiegogo page
Progress on my sister's Kanata Shinonome cosplay from AKB0048.
I'm also fundraising for a movie I hope to be working on this summer. If you would be so kind as to check out our Indiegogo page and contribute even $5 I would be forever in your debt. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/all-about-sarah-niles--2
The Trailer for the movie I'll be working on this summer is live!
And so is the indeigogo campaign. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/all-about-sarah-niles--2 All About Sarah Niles is the story of Sarah Niles as she wrestles through the discovery that she is a lesbian. And the best part is this all started with her agreeing to an immigration scam. Come join us on this quirky adventure of self discovery and humor and donate to the movie.
Progress so far on my little sister's Kanata Shinonome from AKB0048
Monday and Tuesday were both busy and yet not. I filmed the indiegogo trailer for the independent film All About Sarah Niles on those days. I was busy because I had to wake up so earlier and we filmed for 13 hours on Monday and 11 hours on Tuesday but as the wardrobe person I really didn't do much so I spent most of that time sitting on a couch talking to the make up artists. I am in the trailer though, yeah for needing extras! And I also had to hold an umbrella over the camera when were filming outside. So I was able to be of some help in other areas.
Anyways the trailer should hopefully be edited together by next week. I can't wait to see it. We were all laughing so hard during filming and it really felt like I was hanging out with friends instead of working. Once the Indeigogo page is up I'll be posting it. And please, please, please check it out and donate. This movie is my launching pad into the film industry and I really want it to get funded so I can begin my career. And, you know, we have some cool rewards for donating floating around too.
